Hi y'all! Heading back home from my vacation in Colorado :( sorry this chapter is super short, I didn't realize it when I halved it for the last chapter! Y'all may be getting an update later tonight!

I hugged my dad and walked over to Ashley and Melanie. We talked about the honeymoon in the Florida Keys, but mostly Ashley talked about their new house in the middle of the square. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Bailey running down the stairs, obviously in a hurry to see me. I said bye to Ashley and Melanie and hurried over to Bailey where I was embraced in a hug.
"Hey girl! Sorry I couldn't make it to the wedding. My dad was making me do some work with the horses." Bailey's house was a horse safety sanctuary where they took in and rehabilitated injured mustangs.
"Hey, where's the blonde-headed beauty?" she questioned as her head swung around the scene. Bailey's had a small crush on Brody since she met him, but she's too close to him to ever date him, like me.
"If only I knew." I answered, hopelessness clawing at my words.
