   I can't believe this!! This some straight up bull shit, not only did I have to deal with the bitch for the next 8 months, but the nigga i really started to like is the baby father. I'm not gonna lie it hurt a little because for once I was actually happy.

  After leaving the whole altercation, I asked my manager can I take the rest of the day off. I had a huge migraine, I just wanted to go home pop a Advil and go to sleep.

  As soon as I made it through the door my phone started to go off, it was Denzel, apart of me wants to hear him out, but another says stop while I'm ahead. But I answered anyways

“yes” I said dryly.. “look I was going to tell you about the baby thing but I was still coming into conclusion with it myself”.. He explained.. “i just wish would have let me know, but I know you didn't know me and crystal knew each other now that part I will let sly”...I tells him..

“so y'all use to be buddy buddy” he joked..“yup sad to say we was best friends very close”. I informed him.

“what happened ” he asked... I told him everything from me catching them, to high school with me and crystal fights and wasn't surprised crystal seemed like a backstabbing friend.

“i know it's to much to ask but I do like you” he tells me...“look that's to much drama and by y'all coming to my job almost every month I can't risk getting fired over petty arguments” I tells him...

He got quiet but told me he understands and he is not gonna stop until he has me, I laughed him off but I know he was serious by the tone in his voice.

  We hung up the phone, I was serious I couldn't keep sewing him, especially if crystal was in the picture so I will let her have him.

****2 weeks later****

“mom I'm sorry I been busy” I told my mom as I walked up to her at our favorite pizza place.

  “You should never be to busy for your own mother” she looked sad while saying it.

  I loved my mother and she was right we had a very close bond and I was neglecting her. We agreed to spend a whole day together First, were starting with lunch, then were gonna head to the mall and do some shopping, last were going to get a couple of chick flicks and I will crash at my mothers for tonight.

The waitress came over and asked for our drinks we both ordered a sprite. I began telling her the situation about crystal and denzel.“i swear I really despise that gurl” my mom said annoyed. I laughed at my mom,“i know mama but I decided I'll just let them two have it” I said..“ wait a minute he doesn't like her, he wants you from the sound of it” my mom declared.. I knew she was right but k can do with out the drama.

“hi are y'all ready to order” our waitress asked. My mom order a a medium size pepperoni pizza and I ordered a side of wings. After the lady left, i forgot to ask my mom about my father being back over her house,“mom what did you and dad talk about” I asked.

She looked at me then turn her head as she was in deep thought
“oh your father was just coming by to check up on me”.

I eyed her closely, “i hope you not falling for his tricks” I warned.

   “look breyanna I'm a grown ass woman, me and your father are just cordial you don't have to keep telling me anything ”she tells me.

I'm a little taken back by her tone but I left the situation alone. We finished up lunch and headed to the mall. I felt my phone vibrate it was denzel wyd he texted.

At the mall.with my mom I responded.

I catch myself thinking about him, but I know we could never be. I just wished he would leave me alone he really makes it hard on me, I saw he text back but I didn't check I just put my phone away.

Me and my mom shopped til we dropped,we both had about nine bags a piece. We gossip talked about the latest drama, and news. She told me about her neighbors Mr.Johnny was trying to flirt, I laugh cause that man forever trying. I've asked my mom why she never talked to him she said he was just a friend.

  On our way out the mall, I seen Crystal coming in with a guy..he looked familiar.... I just couldn't put a finger on it...I remember denzel telling her he didn't want her, but this dude was all on her. Me and my mom just shook our heads and left the mall we had nothing to do with it.

  “that girl will never learn, guess the apple don't fall to far from the tree”,my mom wasn't lying.

  We skip movie night I told her I just wanted to go home,she understood and thanked me for spending time together.

  I made it home I looked at the time it was still early so I called denzel.

“i knew you would come around” his baritone voice sounded so good.

“w.e denzel I seen crystal today” I told him.

  “word...I don't wanna talk about her right now...wassup with me and you” he asked changing the subject.

I wanted to let him know what I saw, something is telling me crystal is up to something.

“nigga we never gonna be together” I joked.

  “ight you say the now” he said more serious than joking.

  “i did call because I thought about you and I'm bored” I told him.

“10/4...send me your address and ilk show you a good time” I thought about it and I decided what was wrong with a little friendly fun.

After we hung up I text him my address and I got up to take a quick shower and I decided to wear my spiderman shirt with some black tights and my all black Jordans.

  Beep!!Beep

  I looked outside my window and he was there, I said a silent prayer cause only god knows what might transpire tonight.
