"H-Hey, Levy!"

There stood Jet, right outside the door. His orange hair was in a tight ponytail, that was secured by a thick, black, band. He was wearing a striped jacket, that fell down to nearly the floor, lined with a white trim. Underneath his jacket, lay a light, purple shirt. Tight, brown pants stuck to his slender legs. I looked behind me, making sure no one was there.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, stepping outside and closing the door. He slightly grinned, fiddling with his fingers.

"I.....I um......Well, I saw that you were engaged to Gajeel Redfox......So I wanted to make sure you were ok....." He stuttered, looking down at the floor.

"I remember the last time we saw each other, I thought something was going on so I wanted to make sure you were ok!"

I merely blinked, a light blush, coating my cheeks.

"Aw, thanks to Jet! I really appreciate your concern!" I smiled, twirling the end of my dress with my fingers.

"I-Is it true that you're going to marry Gajeel?" He asked, looking past me at the giant mansion.

"Yes, why?"

"Well, he doesn't really seem like the kind of guy you would be marrying......"

"I can see where you're coming from..." I said, laughing slightly. I and Gajeel didn't exactly seem like the "perfect" couple. Our size difference alone was a huge factor.

"Why are you marrying him?"

I paused, not really knowing how to answer that question. I bit my lip slightly, thinking. I couldn't really tell him the actual truth. I wasn't allowed to tell anyone that I was being forced to marry him. That would just create a stir.

"I-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I saw a black car, pulling up. I faintly saw Gajeel's spiky hair, blowing out the window.

"You......"

I looked around, trying to find a place for him to hide.

"You need to go!" I breathed, looking around frantically.

"What? I just got here-"

"Trust me, you want to go!"

Before he could take my warning, a large shadow, towered over us both. I mouthed 'sorry' before looking up at Gajeel. He was glaring at Jet, who was shaking slightly.

"G-Gajeel!" I squeaked, biting my lip again. He sent me a sideways glance, before fixing it back on poor Jet.

"So, you were talkin' to my girl? Tryin' to take her for yourself?" Gajeel asked, leaning down a bit.

"N-No!" Jet stuttered, earning a low growl from Gajeel.

"Well, guess what? She's mine!"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me right next to him, my elbow, touching his stomach.

"R-Right! All y-yours!"

He grinned awkwardly before turning around and sprinting out of the driveway. Gajeel grunted before walking into the house, still, grabbing my hand.

"What was that?" I asked, putting both hands on my hips once he let go and we were in the house.

"Nothin'," He answered, plainly.

"That was not nothing! You scared him!"

"So? He's shouldn't have been talkin' to you in the first place!" He fumed, landing right in front of me.
