*Valerie's character picture^^
Valerie walked out of the grey concrete building she'd spent two summers in already. Also known as-Juvee.
At only 17, she wasn't really allowed to be sent to real prison just yet, she'd been being sent in and out of that very same building since she was caught the first time when she was 15.
Her mums black BMW honked as she neared it. The officer escorting her turned to her and with a hand on her shoulder said,"Try and stay out this time, kid."
"See you 'round, Jase." Jase had always been the nicest officer, occasionally sneaking her some extra supplies.
"Hiya," Was all her mum said as she stepped in. "Oh god, what are you wearing?" She gasped.
"Oh well, at slammer they don't really have Valentino's winter collection just yet." Val scoffed. Besides her mothers dark hair and brown eyes, she had nothing in common with her. Her skin was her dads, not paper-White like her mums but tanned and freckled like we dad... Who was gone.
They drove in silence.

It was dark by the time they arrived back at their house. An extremely modern and pricey house, made of glass and black marble.
Valerie walked up the few steps leading to the front door, almost a head taller than her 5'3 mother, she was 5'8. Which was useful when needing to intimidate in juvee.
"Max's made you a 'welcome home' dinner, I'll be down in a bit." Her mother said prodding up the stairs.
Valerie ran to the dining area, "Maxi!" She called.
The hazel haired man popped out of the kitchen, "Val!" He replied, matching her enthusiasm.
She threw her arms around the houses 'butler', even though she considered him family. At only 25, she felt he was like an older brother she never had.
"How was it this time?"
"Bearable, Matilda was released so a lot calmer."
"Matilda, the nut case one?" He chuckled,
"Yeah." She laughed back,
"Well if she's on the loose I'm not leaving this house."
They both caught up, after all a lot can happen in 6 months.
"I'm gunna go get changed out of this amazing 'Orange is the new black' one piece"
Max nodded. She was only 12 when he became their butler, though her mum abused his job by subtly making him the babysitter while she went off God knows where.
Val swung open her bedroom doors, she loved her room. With its un-painted brick walls, movie set lamps everywhere and books it was her haven.
She plopped down on the silk covered bed. One wall was glass and with the room being sectioned off from the rest of the house she could see the whole city.

"Morning, honey." Her mom mused.
Max put down an iced hot chocolate and bowl of cereal down in Val's place.
"Morning," he said.
"Morning, guys."
"So mom, uh, what's going on with school? Like, when am I going back?"
Her mother looked up from her newspaper and braced her elbows on the table. She snickered.
"Hun, you're not going back."
Val licked over her teeth.
"Don't you remember what happened last time you were there?" She said going back to her newspaper.
"I didn't do shit!" Val blurted.
"So constantly getting into fights was not 'shit'" her mom spat.
"That's not-" Val collapsed into her chair, "you know that wasn't in school, only the last time..."
"One time too many. Punching boys in a learning environment is disgraceful."
"Mom! He was forcing himself into a girl! What the fucking else was I suppose to do?"
Max was already backing into the kitchen. "How dare you talk to me like that?!"
Her mom stood up, "You're going to Whitewood High. End of."
Val stood aswell.
"Whitewood High!? That rich-kid, 'picket fence family' kid school!?"
Valerie grabbed one of the jacket off of the hanger as she stormed out of the house, almost breaking the glass doors.
She didn't know where she was going, just not to that damn school.
