Once Jack had gotten his memory back he stopped cutting himself, and he and Jaycee were happy. They were sitting on the couch, watching Jason Bourne.
"Hey," Jaycee said.
"Yeah?" Jack said, stuffing his face full of popcorn.
"I'm proud of you,"
"Why?" He asked. "I didn't do anything,"
"You tried," Jaycee said.
"I tried?"
"You tried to save M-" Jaycee started, but caught herself. "Him. You weren't successful, but you tried. You tried to stop hurting yourself, you did. You tried to stop being suicidal, and you did,"
"Thanks," Jack said.
"No," Jaycee said. "Really,"
"I know,"
They sat in silence for the rest of the movie. When it was finally over, it was around 11:30.
"Hey Jay," Jack said, yawning.
"Yeah?" She said, also yawning,
"I love you," Jack said looking at her with his softest eyes.
"I love you too, Jack,"

Jaycee woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes. She walked to the kitchen to see a plate for her, and a letter with a rose over it.
She started to get nervous. Jack had told her almost everything about that night, and this all seemed too familiar.
She opened the envelope to see this,
"Hey Jay. Okay, this might seem weird, but check my Twitter. You'll know what my tweet means,"
She practically ran to her phone. Her hands were shaking as she unlocked her phone.
"Mary's"
That's all his tweet said. She figured that it meant Mary's Smokehouse. She got into her car and drove. She was starting to cry. She had no idea why. She didn't think Jack was that unhappy.
After what seemed like forever, Jaycee was at the restaurant.
She walked to the nearest employee and started to describe Jack's appearance.
The man seemed to understand and told her to wait there. He came back about a minute later with another envelope.
"Hey Jay. It's me again. Why don't you eat some food,"
She was wondering what he was up to. She took the table she met Jack at and ordered a water, a Dr.Pepper, and twelve baked potatoes.
The man just stared at her for a moment, and then went to the kitchen. He came back a moment later with someone following him. She couldn't see who it was. They had thrown a sheet over them self to make them look like a black ghost.
The lights flickered for a moment, and then turned completely off. Someone blindfolded her and she heard rustling around her.
"What's going on!?" She practically yelled.
"Just hold on," An oddly familiar voice said.
"M-Mar-k?"Jaycee stuttered.
The lights turned back on. Except this time, they were pink. Her blindfold was pulled off. She looked around and the restaurant was empty. Her table had been cleaned off except for a single rose in a vase and rose petals scattered around. She looked at the floor in front of her.
She saw a man in a tuxedo on one knee. He was holding a box with a ring. He had green hair.
"Hey Jay," Jack said.
"Jack," Jaycee said.
"I love you Jaycee,"
"No, Jack," She said.
"Yes," He said. "I love you,"
"Jack, don-"
"Jaycee, will you marry me?"
"No..."
