Dan and Phil were leaning against the bedroom door. They couldn't hear the full conversation, but they could make out sentences Jack and Jaycee were yelling, such as;

"So, you stayed at Dan and Phil's without telling me!"

"I thought you'd understand!"

"Why would you think that, Jaycee! I still love you and then you just left!"

It was then when they heard a small whisper come from Jaycee.

"You still love me?"

"Yeah. I do,"

Silence.

"Should we go out and check on them?" Phil almost whispered to Dan.

Dan looked over at Phil. He was...crying?

"Phil?"

"I didn't want...want this-us to hurt anyone,"

Dan quickly embraced him in a hug.

"I know you didn't. I know, honey."

"So," Jaycee said, holding Jack's hand. "You see why I can't...you know,"

"Yeah," Dan replied.

Phil was still crying in his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, Jaycee," Was all Phil could say before she left.

Still holding hands, they walked down the stairs and got into Jack's car that was parked out front.

"Can we not talk about them?" Jack asked. "Ever again?"

"Never again." Jaycee reassured him.

She didn't want to loose him. Not again.

"What if we see them at Comic-Con thought?" Jaycee asked shyly.

"Then we ignore them."

Comic-Con was in two weeks and all the plans were already planned. Felix and Ken were in charge of choosing the hotel. They waited too long and the only hotel available was the one Mark had killed himself at. Mark killed himself, at Comic-Con, on the last day. In about three weeks, a year ago.

"It's good to be back," Jaycee said, throwing herself on the couch.

"It's good to have you back," Jack said, mimicking her movements.

"So," Jaycee said. "What have you been up to?"

"Oh you know, just seeing blood on the wall. The usual."

"Nothing much. Just moving around some furniture," He replied.

This took Jaycee by surprise, as the furniture was exactly in the same place. Jack didn't ask Jaycee "What about you?" as much as he wanted to. He told himself that he'd never talk about Dan and Phil again.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Jaycee asked, and of course, she picked Wall-E.

They sat on the brown leather sofa. Jack's arm around Jaycee. Forgetting the rest of the world around them. Shoving their faces full of, you guessed it, popcorn.
