Jack woke up and to his surprise, he was in his bed. He knew he wasn't dreaming. His hands still smelled like blood. He noticed he got a text on his phone.
Hey Jack. It's Jaycee. I came over to your house to tell you something, but you weren't there. I found you about three blocks away and brought you back home. Text me when you get up? Pleeeeaaassseee? <3
Jack didn't know how to respond to this. He hadn't talked to Jaycee in what seemed like forever, and now she texted him with a really sweet message, and dragged him home. Did she have a plan? Did she want things to go back to how they were? Jack did. He wanted to go back to before Mark killed himself. He wanted to go back to how things were when Mark was alive. He also wanted to bring Jaycee. The two would have been good friends.
{***}
This wasn't Jaycee's house. Felix told him she was staying at her parent's house. There was an insane amount of stairs. Jack knocked on the door. He had wondered if he should do this throughout the whole drive there. He knew he had to as soon as he awoke. He didn't even brush his hair.
"Help me," Jack said when the door opened.
Quickly, he was embraced in a hug.
"I thought you were dead!" Jaycee said.
"Jaycee?"
Jack pulled away and looked up. He had never seen this man. He had brown hair and brown eyes, they were gorgeous. Jack was instantly jealous.
"Dan!" Jaycee said turning around. "I told you to stay in your room! I'll handle this."
"Jaycee-," Jack started.
"Come in," He was cut off by another male. This one was standing next to Dan. He had black hair and blue eyes, also insanely beautiful.
"Phil," Jaycee said. "No. It won't-"
"He deserves to know," Phil cut her off.
"Fine," Jaycee said, taking Jack's hand.
The flat was very well decorated. It was colorful. Jack was jealous once again. He wanted this to be him. He wanted to be better. He just wasn't.
They sat Jack down on the sofa. He was sat next to Jaycee, Dan and Phil opposite them on the floor.
"So, Jaycee," Jack started. "Are we still... or are you guys...?"
"N-no way!" Dan protested. "No offense Jay, but you know I'm dating Phil."
Jack sighed in relief and also excitement. He was happy Jaycee wasn't dating one of these guys, but the YouTube drama was solved. Phan was real. He had shipped it from the beginning.
"Not now!" He thought.
"Jack, I-I was just staying with them because I was...well...you know," Jaycee said.
"Actually Jay, I don't. Explain?" Jack protested.
"Because they're my friends and I had nowhere else to stay!" She yelled defensively.
"So, this is where you stayed that time when you left me for two days without returning? Without even telling me you were alive?" Jack asked, now getting slightly annoyed.
"Yes Jack," Jaycee said, looking down at her feet.
Dan looked at Phil. They seemed to read minds as Dan said, "We should probably let you two figure this out," and stood up. Phil quickly followed him into Dan's bedroom.
