*Tay's POV*

Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year. And I've been going crazy, I'm stuck in here.

Honestly I don't care if people think that it's weird that I listen to bands like All Time Low.

I've been listening to them since 2003 when I was in middle school. Yeah. I was a middle schooler when this band had started, even if all they were doing was covering song by bands such as blink-182.

That's the thing though. Not very many people knew who All Time Low was until 2007 when their song Dear Maria, Count Me In song came out. How I heard of them was when I was just looking for some new music to listen to on MySpace one day in the first half of my 8th grade year and I saw the name All Time Low, so I was just curious because they sounded new and I've been listening to them since then.

People might consider me an emo or whatever, but it's just like, you know what? Who gives a shit. I'm not emo. Not because of the kind of music that I listen to that is. I'm more of an alternative kind of person.

"Ms. Tay," some kid said in a more question like statement.

"Yeah?"

"I was told that you're the music teacher and that I should ask if there's a possibility that any of your music classes have any more space for one more student."

"Yeah. What's your name kid?"

"Cam Adler."

"You seem like you might be the kind of guy who's into rock music. You into rock music?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Well next hour is Hip Hop and Rock class and we have one more available spot. Or 5th hour of you have a class next hour that you can't drop."

"I can do next hour."

"Alright. Well you should probably go talk to whoever your family teacher about getting you switched into next hour."

"Alright"

*Jenna's POV*

"You are going to fucking love my friends Jenna."

"Who?"

"Well they aren't just my best friends, but my band mates."

"You're in a band? Are you looking for a singer? Wait is is that why you're wanting me to meet them?"

"Yes, yes, and yes."

"Okay, okay, and okay." I said as I chuckled a bit.

"Hey Whaki. Who's the green beauty with you?" One of the guys that I'm guessing is one of Whaki's best friends.

"Guys, this is Jenna. You know how we've been looking for a vocalist for our band? I think we might have found ourselves a vocalist for the band. I had recorded a 10 second video of her, with her knowledge, of her singing a Michael Jackson song and she sounds amazing."

He played the 10 second clip and they all said that I should do a quick audition and if they all for real like it, they will let me in the band. So we went to the auditorium, after asking if we could use it real quick, so that I can audition for them.

"So what song are you gonna sing for us Jenna?" the guy named Cam had asked.

"'Who Am I Living For?' by Katy Perry."

After that I had started singing the song, "I can feel a Phoenix inside of me."

A few minutes later I was done singing the song and after bout a minute of them talking, Cam had said, "Congrats Jenna. You're in the band."
