*Tay's POV*

Since I didn't have anything to announce in Family today except to let the students know about a couple of students from this school who went missing the day before (I decided to tell them at the end of Family), I figured that we should go around and say  what our Top 8 favourite songs are.

I decided to go first. "This isn't in order, but my Top 8 favourite songs would be Pantera's Cemetery Gates, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Rise Against's Make It Stop, Breaking Benjamin's Give Me A Sign, Troye Sivan's WILD, Slipknot's Psychosocial, Orianthi's Suffocated and last but not least Amelia by the band Tonight Alive, two of whom the members are in this family, Whak and Jenna."

"You're just sucking up Tay."

"Well is it sucking up if it's true that your band is exuberant and the song Amelia is great?"

"Just a bit."

"Alright fine than Jenna. What's your Top 8 favourite songs than?"

"My Top 8 favourite songs would be Slipknot's Before I Forget, iwrestledabearonce's Gift of Death, Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Troye Sivan's Youth, Arch Enemy's You Will Know My Name, Breaking Benjamin's Angels Fall, Of Mice and Men's Real, and We Are The In Crowd's Kiss Me Again."

"And yet I'm the one that's a suck up."

After that everyone else went with just about 5 minutes left of Family, so I decided to tell them, "Alright, so before you guys start packing up to either leave for the day or to go to your next class, there's something you guys need to know. If you guys haven't heard already, 4 of our students has gone missing over the weekend, one of whom is in this family. The kids who went missing were Kellin Quinn from Hayley's family, VIc Fuentes from Chad's family, Andy B from this family, and Jamie Preciado from Tony's family. Last they were seen was yesterday afternoon in the Lakewood-Littleton area near a church called Columbine UU Church. I have posters up here if you guys want to take any with you and hang up in any public place that you go to and if you guys see them call for the police. The numbers for Kellin's, Vic's, Andy's and Jamie's parents are on these posters so that if you see their kids to call them."

All my kids were shocked about the whole thing. Of course they would be because of the fact that my Family, a Family of 14 kids, were all very close friends with the 4 missing kids. Like who could blame them? The missing kids were like Family to these people as well as to the other 3 missing kids' school Families.

*Jenna's POV*

I can't believe this. I cannot believe that they went missing.

When I met the 4 of them a month into the school year, I started getting close with them and they started to become like brothers in a way.

When I told my sisters, they were shocked as well because my youngest sister was dating Vic and my middle sister was dating Andy, mostly for sex which Andy was fine with because he was only attracted to guys romantically, as well as Jamie, but only romantically.

After a few hours of helping my sisters with their homework and playing video games for an hour, I went to band practice and just ended up working on what to write for a next song with the guys for hour and a half of band practice with the last half an hour to practice whatever we come up with.

"How about we write a song about never burning under someone's starlight?" Cam had asked.

"How about the lyrics 'Don't have to wait to have it all if you light me up tonight I swear I could never burn out under your starlight.'? I mean those lyrics won't be the first 24 words of the song, but it'll go somewhere.'

"Yeah totally."

After about an hour and a half of writing, we got the song finished and decided to started practicing for the last half hour of practice. We all decided to just play some Call Of Duty for a half an hour after band practice before I went home because dinner at my house wasn't until 7:15 pm.

I asked my sisters before I left for band practice if it was okay with them that I brought Tay over for dinner, which they were ok with, so I before I left Cam's house, I called Tay to let her know that I was coming to pick her up and that I'll be there in about 5 minutes.

*5 minutes later*

"Hey T."

"Hey."

"Do I not get a kiss?" I asked, clearly just fucking with her. "Is everything ok Tay?"

"Not really."

"What's going on?"

"Can it wait until after dinner?"

"Yeah."

We ended up driving to my house for the next 25 minutes in comfortable silence with a cassette tape that Tay had made me that has love songs that remind her of me apparently, which is sweet.

I was working on making a mix tape with Tay's favourite songs on it as well as putting the song that my band and I are working on after we've finished practicing the song than after getting it recorded.

My band and I had agreed to have Tay with us on Friday afternoon during band practice to play a few songs for her, with Amelia being the second to last song and have Starlight be the last song for our practice set that we're working on making definite when we play our very first gig.

*Time skip to Friday afternoon*

"Alright Tay. So we want you to be honest with what you think of the songs for our first gig and we especially want you to tell us what you think of the very last song that we play."

"Alright."

*Time skip to after the practice set*

"Don't want to say goodnight let's live it up. I'm lost tonight under your starlight."

Once we finished, I heard clapping from Tay. "Who inspired you to write that song you guys?"

"Well Cam had come up with the idea about writing as song about never burning out under the starlight of the one we love. When I thought of it, you were the one that came to mind. Also, I know that we haven't known each other for very long, but can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure what is it?"

"Well first I would like for you to sit down."

After that I looked at Matt and had him playing Bruno Mars' Marry You.

"I know that we haven't known each other for very long, but I do know that we are meant for each other and I know that I may be a bit to young for this, but (I got on my left knee) Tay Kathleen Jardine, will you marry me?"

"Yes! Yes I'll marry you!"
