Raphael, You Made Me Cry.... (Book 1)

We Kidnapped Someone....

(Raphael POV)

I'm not sure when the shell I agreed to this, but Leo and Donnie wanted to make sure I got used to this human before I could have any more free time, even with Spike... A few hours ago, Mikey even took and hid Spike from me, so they would make me agree to this. Personally, I didn't like it, and I imagine the girl didn't either...

But yet, there was something about her that made me want to hold on my snappy attitude... Her eyes were dashing blue, like Mikey's but the black hair made a startling contrast. She wasn't afraid to fight, which was interesting because most girls that I've heard of, besides April and Karai, fled from even the Purple Dragons... Or maybe it was just her own snappy attitude...

I popped open the manhole cover and Mikey jumped down. I followed and then Leo lowered the girl down. I still couldn't remember her name... She said it once, I think, but I didn't care to catch it. Mikey caught her and I helped him, gingerly touching her, thinking her of fire and not girl. Leo and Donnie jumped down after and took her back into their grasp, going to the lair.

"You do know Sensei's going to kill us, right?" I asked, coming up beside Leo. "He flipped out with April, and now this chick?"

"I'll handle this," Leo tried to assure me. It didn't work. I crossed my arms and walked in the main tunnel entrance.

Sensei wasn't in the main room, which I was thankful for, but the dojo light was on. Leo set the human on the couch and paused, probably thinking whether or not to get Sensei. Sighing, I went to the dojo.

Right now, I really didn't care if we got in trouble. I mean, if we can get the girl out of the lair right now, only I wouldn't care. But if she stayed, I'd be pissed off... Because I wouldn't see Spike till I apologized, and I wouldn't apologize.

Entering the dojo, Sensei wasn't in here either. His room... The one place that I tried to avoid... That was more of a Leo's job; to enter Sensei's room. Closing the gap between the door and me, I knocked on it gently, my knuckle's knock echoing through the dojo, even though it was barely a tap.

"Come in," Sensei's deep voice resonated through the screen.

Breathing out, I pulled open the slide door and entered the room, bowing respectfully before him. Sensei's golden eyes examined me and then he slowly asked, "What is it that you would like, Raphael?"

"Sensei," I started, feeling my heart pounding in my throat. Somehow, I didn't want to tell on the girl and just lie out of this, but Sensei can see past lies. "There is a girl Leo and us brought in..."

"Why?"

I paused. How was I supposed to explain this?! Tell the truth that I was a complete dick, or lie and say they kidnapped her for the fun of it? Gulping, Sensei sensed my uncomfort and stood up, his violet robe flowing down over him.

"Raphael..." Sensei said slowly, dragging my name out. "Why did you bring another human in the lair?"

"Because I wasn't being nice to her..." I muttered, looking down and away.

Sensei's amber eyes glared at me and his voice hardened as he snapped, "What do you mean, 'not being nice'?"

I stood my ground, but gritted my teeth, "I punched her..."

"Raphael!" Splinter roared angrily. "His fists clenched and I backed up a step, unsure of what Sensei might do. "You have learned nothing through my training to start hitting humans!"

"She asked for it, Sensei!"

He ground his teeth and glared at me harshly. His left ear flicked in annoyance and he growled lowly, "If anything, I believe she tempted you into fighting."

I looked down regretfully, knowing that was true. He sensed it and waved his hand, letting me know that I was excused to leave. Turning around, I closed the sliding door and breathed out air that I didn't even know I was holding.

"How'd it go?" Leo's voice sounded behind me.

Jumping in shock, I turned around and grit my teeth, growling. "Leo..."

"Again, I ask, how'd it go?" Leo looked at me questioningly.

"How you would expected it to go," I snapped, glaring at him.

He rolled his eyes and sighed, coming up. "You check on the girl. Try and wake her up."

"Why me?!" I exclaimed. He turned and smirked, knocking on the screen.

Splinter's voice echoed in the dojo, "You can enter, Leonardo."

Leo entered and left me alone in the dojo, thinking of what to do. Growling, I turned to the main room. Donnie was by the girl and Mikey in the kitchen. By the smell of it, he was making pizza.

With me coming in the main room, Donnie looked up and sighed, "About time. Leo said you were with Sensei. How was that?"

"How would you think?" I snapped, looking at the girl. "Why is the bag still over her head?"

"Because Leo said to wait for you to come back in. And you have to take it off," Donnie added harshly, crossing arms.

Sighing, I gritted my teeth and cautiously came up to the girl, looking at her. She was surprisingly still, her hands on her stomach and legs bent at the knees. She seemed peaceful, but I knew from eariler tonight, she could be really cruel.

Reluctantly, I reached my hand over and took off the potato sack. When I threw it away, her eyes flew open and she paused for a second, like she was remembering what happened and probably getting her bearings.

"You're up," Donnie said softly.

Slowly, the girl sat up and looked around casually, like she was used to getting kidnapped every night. She sighed and finally her blue eyes landed on me and her jaw tightened as she grit her teeth.

"Sadly," she finally said. She crossed her arms and relaxed back on the couch.

That's when Splinter and Leo came in. The girl looked up and looked unamused as Splinter came in. She might've been used to giant rats, because she didn't even flinch. Splinter was slightly shocked at her sight and came over.

"What is your name, child?" Sensei asked.

"Naomi," she answered rather calmly. Her blue eyes closed slowly before opening back up, staring at us all calmly. "My name's Naomi."
