Leo, Raph, and Donnie were explaining this entire scene. I never gave comment or question. But, it was confusing me. Dragons...? A Naomi that's a Lizard...? Mind control?! What kind of world did they live in?!

I didn't interrupt once while they were talking until they finished explaining the plan between them all.

"Okay..." I said, tapping my chin as they paused. Donnie got up to get a drink of water because him and Raph were the two that were talking the most. Leo wasn't there when it happened... He was only explaining what he knew, like the beginning and end. "So... How does this involve me?"

"You're Naomi," Raph said.

"Yeah, that's my name," I looked annoyed at him. He blinked and tapped his foot, looking away awkwardly.

Leo sighed, "We meant the mutant."

"Do I look like a mutant?" I snapped.

"You were one," Donnie said, coming back in. A glass of water was held in one hand and in the other was a small piece of paper that actually looked like a photograph.

"I would remember if I was a weird mutant."

"But--" Raph started.

"Look," I snapped impaitently. "Just because I recognize the names Sophie and Julie and my name's Naomi doesn't mean I'm your guys' Naomi. Or yours," I glared at Raph. He blushed and looked down.

"Could you at least just look at this...?" Donnie said cautiously, coming up and offering the picture.

I looked at him and he took a slight step back. Sighing, I closed my eyes slowly and looked at the ceilign before taking the picture from him. Looking down at it, I blinked.

On the picture was the four boys, but each of them had someone else by them. By Donnie was a yellow masked Turtle, but her mask ends were in a bow tie. Her hazel eyes were playful. They reminded me of Julie... By Leo was a blue-green masked Turtle, but her mask ends were laid over her shoulders. The familiar light brown seemed like Sophie... Mikey's other Turtle was actually giving him a piggy back ride. Mikey was looking up at her, and the Turtle had a pink mask. The mask ends were practically normal like the boys. Her happiness practically glowed through the picture and it made me want to smile. Just like Cindy did everytime I went to visit her. Then by Raph wasn't a Turtle, but a Lizard. She was actually hidden behind Raph, but just barely peeked out so her head was on his shoulder. Her blue eyes sparkled behind a black mask with knowing and without innocence. I knew she was a Lizard because there was a tail shown, and I knew it couldn't be Raph's. And behind everyone were two dragons, one white with blue eyes and one black, like the one on my door.

Staring at the picture made me wonder. Why did they all seem so familiar? Not counting the guys. Like I knew them. When I handed the picture back to Donnie, there was an awkward silence that just collapsed on us all. I looked down uncomfortably. Silence was great and all, but when it was weird or awkward, it just wasn't my thing.

"Who are all they...?" I asked silently, trying to break it.

"Us and the girls," Donnie answered back with the same amount of silence. "Julie, Sophie, Mikito, and... Naomi..."

"Along with Shol and Topaz," Raph continued.

I looked around the lair like I was expecting two giant dragons to appear. "Where are they now?"

"Who?" Leo asked.

"The dragons."

"Gone..." Donnie sighed, sitting down. "As soon as Julie, Shol's Rider, and Naomi, Topaz's Rider, died, they fled."

"To their Realm..." Raph added, crossing his arms and looking down.

The longer we talked, the more I thought. So, finally, I spoke up, "So if you say I'm that Lizard in the picture and in the story, but she died, how am I her?"

"Excellent question," Mikey smiled, finally speaking up in all this. He did get up for a brief pizza break in the middle of the beginning of the story.

Donnie came up, setting the glass down, the glass empty already. "Well, we know this Shade who can bring others to life."

"I thought Shades were bad?" I said. "I mean, according to Eragon."

"Eragon?" they all asked.

"A book..." I sighed. "Continue?"

Donnie shook his head, probably already curious about the Shades in the Inheritance series. "Well, this Shade is apparently Julie and I's kid..."

"You had a kid? That's a Shade?" I asked, shocked.

"Well, no, and yes... We weren't us when we.... uhm..."

"I get the point," I said, waving my hand. "And don't put that mental image back in my head. All I can see is the Julie I know appearing in your bed. I wanna hurl." Raph looked offended by that and I looked at him questioningly but he looked away before I could ask.

"Well, when we weren't us, we were actually possessed by demons and it sorta happened...." Don looked away, shrugging and turning red. "But from what Julie explained, it happened in the future that we don't know about."

I shook my head, unable to believe any of it. It sounded like science fiction or even from a book. Which I haven't read any for a while. Maybe I should catch up on my book reading like Allegiant. Still need to finish that one..

"So what else?" I asked, looking at them all. "Or you still explaining about the Shade?"

"The Shade's name is Glitch," Donnie continued. "And he is current ruler of the Shade Realm while Annabeth, another one of Julie's children, is the rule of the Light Realm."

"Is Annabeth yours? We're you possessed by angels this time?" Now it was starting to sound like Supernatural. I still needed to finish season seven...

"Annabeth isn't mine. Julie had her with one of her angel friends...."

"My Julie wouldn't do that. She likes Harlen."

At that, Donnie paused and looked at me, "Who?"

"Her boyfriend," I said obviously. "Every girl gets one eventually if they're lucky. Hell, I have one."

"What?!" Raph stood up, clenching his fists. "You never told me!"

"I'm not a girl you can tie up in Kurosama chains, Raph," I said, glaring at him and crossing my arms. "And. I don't need to report to a mutant I barely know."

Raph paused, anger still written on his face before sitting down, face grim and looking down. He recrossed his arms. "You could've told me before I put you on my lap..."

Leo, Mikey, and Donnie looked at him and me shocked. I blinked and turned red, looking down. I gritted my teeth and stood up. The boys standing moved out of the way and I walked right by them.

"Don't call me...." I growled, leaving the lair.

They weren't my life and I wasn't theirs. I had my life topside and my future. I'd at least like to live it without being controlled by freaks.
