EMMA'S POV
You were trying to hold back the tears when he said that.
"Umm... Well, ever since I was born my dad would abuse me and my mom. Then he told my mom to help him beat me and then he would stop beating her. So my mom agreed." At this point you were in tears. "A-and then both of my parents would beat me. Then if I didn't co-operate they would throw me around or hit me in the head until I blacked out. W-when I woke up I would be t-tied down. T-then m-my dad would... he would... r-rape me." At this point you were sobbing. Ty pulled you into a hug whispering calming things in your ear like 'it's okay' and 'you're safe now.'
After about 20 minutes of you crying, there were no more tears coming out.
"H-hey Ty?"
"Ya?" He said in a really soft tone.
"Why were you in the hospital that day when we met you?" You asked pulling back a bit so you could see Ty's face.
"Well..."
