Chapter 31

Tyler's POV

The doctor wheeled her off to a different room with a few nurses walking behind him.

While she was in surgery, you called Dylan (O'Brien) and explained everything that happened. How the house caught fire and how you guys were in the hospital now and Chloe was in surgery. You asked him if you guys could stay there until they fixed up your house. Of course he said yes, and you told him that in about 5 or 6 hours you guys would be there, and he said that would be okay.

A few hours later they wheeled her back and brought her back into the room that she was in before.

While she was in surgery you brought Em with you and you guys went to the nearest drug store and got some Advil for Chloe because when she would wake up, she'll be in a lot of pain.

About an hour later the doctor told you that Chloe was allowed leave, you just had to sign some papers.

After you did that, you had to wait until Chloe woke up to go and see her. The doctor was in the room with Chloe now.

Another hour after you had to sign the papers, the doctor came out of the Chloe's room and told you guys that she was awake and that you could go and see her now.

You and Em both ran into her room. She looked relieved to see you both and both of you gave her a big hug.

"Hey Chloe how are you feeling?" You said in the softest voice possible.

"My head hurts and my foot hurts. And I feel sick." She said back.

"Your stomach is just probably upset from the anesthesia." You said and she nodded.

"You know what? We can leave right now if you want. And we're staying at Dylan's house." You said to her.

"Can we leave now? Please?" She asked.

"Ya, of course. You're going to be on crutches for a while, just until your foot heals. The nurse left you some crutches." You said to her as you pointed over to the crutches leaning against the wall.

"Where are my clothes?" Chloe asked.

"They're right over here." You said and handed her the bag with her clothes. You turned around so she could get changed but you didn't leave the room just incase something happened and she needed your help.

"Emma? Could you help me?" She asked.

"Sure." Em said back to her.

After about 5 minutes Chloe said that you could turn around because she was finished getting chnaged.

You had picked up Chloe and told Em to grab her crutches.

You guys walked out to the truck and you put Chloe in the front seat and put her leg on the dashboard so that she wasn't stepping on it or putting any weight on it. Also so that it wouldn't be throbbing, causing her even more pain then she is already in now.

You took the crutches from Em and put then in the trunk as she got in the truck.

You shut the trunk and got into the drivers seat. You started driving to Dylan's house and noticed that Chloe's head was leaning against the head rest with her eyes scrunched closed.

"I know you're in pain babe but I  bought you some Advil, so when we get to Dylan's, I get you some." You said to Chloe to try and make her feel a bit better.

"Dad, I still feel sick."

"I know you do. But when we get to Dylan's, you can lye down and relax. You've been through a lot today. But you're okay." You tried to reassure her.

She just nodded her head and leaned her head back again.

You guys finally pulled up to Dylan's house after what felt like the longest car ride ever.
