Chapter 10

EMMA'S POV

You woke up and looked around. You remembered that you were in Tyler's room.

You slowly got up and made the sheets on the bed look a little bit half decent, then made your way down stairs.

You walked to the living room to see Tyler on his laptop and Chloe sitting beside him.

"Hey Tyler, hey Chlo." You happily said.

"Hey Em." Tyler and Chloe both said at the same time.

"What are you guys doing?" You asked while going to sit beside Tyler so you could see the laptop too.

"I'm adopting you guys!" Tyler said, his voice full of excitement.

"Really!?!" You said, your voice full of excitement.

"Of course really! And we're going out for dinner to celebrate!" He said.

"Thank you so much Tyler!" You said hugging his side.

"Where are we going?" Chloe asked.

"Well I was thinking sushi but I don't know if you guys like it?"

"I don't even know what sushi is. And I don't know if Chloe does either." You said.

"Ya, I have no clue what it is. I've never even heard of it." Chloe added in.

"Well, it's basically raw fish wrapped in seaweed and rice. It tastes much better then it sounds. But if you guys don't want to go, we don't have to. It's up to you guys. Whatever you guys want is good with me." He said.

"I'm good with sushi. You Chloe?"

"I'm good with it too."

"Awesome! So when do you guys want to go?" Tyler asked.

"Do you mind if I just quickly shower before we go?" You asked.

"No, not at all. Chloe you can shower if you want as well."

"No that's okay. I'm not really in the mood to take a shower right now." Chloe said.

"Okay."

"Um, where's the shower?" You asked kind of shyly.

"Here, follow me, I'll show you." Tyler said as he got up and set his laptop on the couch.

You nodded your head as you started to follow him up the stairs.

"Hey, what time is it?" You asked.

"It's about 6 o'clock. Why?"

"Just curious."

He brought you to the shower and said, "I'll be right downstairs. Just yell down if you need anything."

"Okay, thank you."

You finished taking your shower and you realized something. You didn't have a towel.

"TYLER!" You yelled popping your head out of the bathroom door a little.

You heard footsteps coming up the stairs. It's Tyler.

"Ya, what's wrong?" He said looking up at you.

"Um, I don't have a towel."

"Oh, sorry. One second." He said chuckling a little.

He came back with a towel and handed it to you as you put one hand outside of the door.

"Here you go." He said still chuckling.

"Thank you." You said smiling.

You got dressed again and made your self look half decent with whatever you had there.

You went back downstairs and happily said, "I'm ready to go whenever you guys are."

"Okay, let's go then! You guys are officially adopted by me. Welcome home Emma and Chloe Hoechlin!" Tyler said with a huge smile across his face.

You and Chloe both went to give him a hug and you guys both thanked him.

Then you all got into his car and made your way to the restaurant.
