When we got to the movies, we went to the snack bar and bought candy(Skittles, M&M's, and Sour Patch Kids) and popcorn, as well as two slushees(both were a mixture of cherry and blue raspberry flavor). We talk frequently and joke about random, uncensored things that I usually couldn't joke with anyone about. Also, the number one good thing about him is that he hates Donald Trump. If he supported him, I don't think I'd be able to be around him at all.
We walk into the theater that's showing the movie we want to see(I believe it's a horror film, but I'm not 100% positive). We sit at the very top and eat the popcorn before the movie even starts, which we somewhat regret. "Well, that didn't last long," Billie whispers. I nod and grab the box of Sour Patch Kids. "You can't open those now; We'll finish them before the movie starts," he says, laughing slightly. A few more people walk in and sit a couple of rows below us until one of them notices that Billie Joe Armstrong is sitting right behind them. They stand up and make their way to the row right in front of us and one of them asks, "Oh my god, can we get a picture?" Billie looks at me as if he's asking for my permission. I shrug and motion to the two girls. 'Ugh. They aren't even real fans. I can tell. Okay, chill, Cara. How would you even know that? You have never seen them in your life, so you can't say anything,' I think to myself. "So is she your girlfriend?" the other girl asks Billie. Again, he looks at me as if he doesn't know. "Oh, no, we aren't dating," I chime in. "Good," the girl flirts.
"I'm Carly by the way, and this is Amber," she introduces both of them. "Why don't you come sit with us?" Amber asks Billie. He looks at me and, again, asks for my permission. I lean in towards him and whisper so that he can only hear, "I don't run your life; It's up to you if you want to go, but I don't mind if you want to sit with them or me." I lean back into my chair and smile at Billie happily. "Um, no thank you. I'll just stay up here," Billie says, smiling at me. I smile back and direct my attention towards the angry women, who scoff and go back to their seats. I laugh slightly at the sight of two women who, if I'm being honest, are dumb enough to go after a guy that's sitting with a girl. What if Billie and I were dating? Would they still have asked him to sit with them? I guess I shouldn't worry since we aren't a thing. Sadly...
"Hey, Cara? Can I ask you something?" Billie whispers, leaning over to me but not turning his head to face me. "Yeah, what is it?" I shoot back. "What would you think if I asked you out a second time?" he smirks, but still doesn't face me. "Well, I'd think that this date is fine so why wouldn't a second one be fine...or maybe even better if a certain someone made a move," I flirt, taking a sip of my slushee. He shifts slightly and turns to face me, "Would this certain someone possibly be a frontman of a band that rhymes with Lean Bay, and thinks you're really pretty?" I blush and say, "The movie's starting." I smile and watch the movie, trying to avoid the frat boys sat a couple of rows passed Amber and Carly. They're obviously gay, which I don't mind, but they keep shipping all the wrong characters.
Suddenly, I feel Billie intertwine his fingers with mine on the arm of the chair. He glances at me for permission and I smirk at him, leaving my hand in his. It's kinda comforting since we are watching a thriller, but I know I shouldn't feel these feelings for someone I barely know.

After the movie, Billie and I walk outside of the theater and back to the car with a lot of opinions about the movie. "If you had to choose between 10 Cloverfeild Lane or the movie we just saw, which is better?" Billie says, hoping that I'll say Green Room(the movie we just saw) since he really likes it. "I don't think you want me to answer that..." I trail off, taking a sip of my almost gone slushee. "Are you crazy?! How could you pick 10 Cloverfeild Lane over Green Room?!" he exclaims, knocking my drink out of my hand with his gesticulative hand movements. We both stop and watch the blue and red drink mixture fall onto the concrete and laugh for no reason. "Shit. I'm sorry," he says, still getting over his fit of laughter. "It's fine," I tell him as we continue to walk."Um, can I ask you something else? I mean, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but what's the deal with you and that one guy, Ben?" Billie suddenly asks. "Oh...um, well, we broke up, but he—Can you keep a secret? And I really mean that. Can you?" I ask, not wanting to just flat out tell him. "I promise I won't tell anyone, and I never break promises," he says confidently and honestly. "I'm trusting you, so please don't f*ck it up...Anyways, Ben is my ex, but he still wants us to be a thing...I don't want us to be though. I know I probably sound insane, and I know I should've gotten a restraining order awhile ago...I'm sorry this sounds stupid and strange and not okay. I'm stupid for doing what I did do and I should've just told you about him and I didn't—" I ramble. Billie cuts me off by hugging me tightly and saying, "I'm not judging you." I almost feel the need to cry, but I hold back since Billie is currently hugging me. I see a flash of light in front of me and pull away from Billie. "Just saying, I think someone just created a new headline..." I trail off, pointing to the direction of where the flash came from. He turns around and says, "Okay, well, that sucks...I'm sorry. Um, you're probably gonna be in the headlines tomorrow...." he says, nervously scratching the back of his neck. I'm a little bit irritated, but it's not his fault.
"More will probably come. We'd better get going. Are you ready to go?" he asks. I nod and we continue to walk to his car. Out of nowhere, fans and paparazzi run over to Billie and I. The paps take pictures and fire questions from every direction, and the fans keep asking Billie for pictures and autographs. "What's your name?!" one pap asks me. "Are you and Billie dating?!" another one yells. Questions keep plowing through the noises of fans and paps yelling and screaming. "Are you cheating on Adrienne Nesser with this girl?!" "Where's Adrienne?!" "Who's the new mystery girl?!"
Billie grabs my hand and barrels through the crowd, protecting me from anyone who tries to push me around to get closer to him. Somehow, we make it to the car and get inside with people knocking on the windows, trying to ask questions. Billie revs the engine a few times until everyone backs away and lets him drive out of his parking spot and onto the road. "I'm sorry about that..." he apologizes. "It's fine. It's not like you called them there or something..." I pause and continue by saying, "It must get pretty annoying to not be able to be alone for the most part, huh?" He nods and laughs for a second, "Sometimes, I feel constricted, but I gotta love the fans. Without them, there's no Green Day—Well, I mean, there is, but it's not as well known, y'know?" I nod and there's a silence. It's not uncomfortable by any means. It's actually kind of comforting for some reason. Eventually, we talk to each other again, and keep a great conversation.

He parks the car in my parking garage and we begin to make our way upstairs. Luckily, we don't see Ben at all, which makes me feel safe. Once we reach my door, I unlock it, and wonder if I should invite Billie in or not. I mean, that's how problems with Ben started. But, then again, Billie is different than Ben, and I don't think he'd cause issues, so I ask, "Do you wanna come in?" He smiles but says, "Sorry, I'm not just looking for a hook up...I'm sorry if you thought that we—" he gets cut off by me, "No, I didn't mean it like that. I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out for a little while." "Then in that case, yes," he smiles and walks inside my apartment after me. 'So this means Jill was wrong! He's not just looking for a rebound! He actually likes me! And maybe I like him too...'
