A good day indeed

We stopped by literally ever bar that was open in town. There were only a few, but it was very difficult. "Ugh, it's no use." I stated laying my head down on the car steering wheel. Accidentally I sounded the car horn, and jumped shocked and embarrassed someone would hear me.

Sadly, someone did. An old man walked out of the house with a cane and walked towards my car. Luckily, my dad handled it. "I'm sorry, sir. My daughter did it accidentally."

"Oh no no, I wasn't coming out for that, just asking why you're here late at night!" The old man boomed.

"We're looking for..a bar." I cut in. A little shy that I said it in front of a elderly man. He pushed his glasses up on his nose. "Oh? But there's one right there, you see." He pointed on the other side of the street. I looked over. He was right! Gee, me, my father and Jess were in the same car, and none of us noticed it! "Gee, thanks sir." I said solemnly.

We soon after parked and quietly made our way to the back. No one was there. It was all dark, until what seemed to be the bartender, who came out astonished. "Are you..looking for something?" He asked. I nodded. "Well, sorta-.." He stopped me.

"Is your name Blessing by any chance?" The bartender asked. I nodded. "Yes, have we come to the right place?"

He gestured us to wait as he went into the bar. A few moments later he came out with another note. "Here you are. Someone asked me to give it to you."

I thanked him then we all went back it the car. It was almost dark, so I had to use a flashlight on my phone to read the note. It read.

"Hello, love! I see you found the right bar to look in. I'm sorry for not telling what specific bar, it just seemed more fun! Anyways, I'm sure you're tired. So get some rest! Your adventure will begin in the morning!

Love you,
Michael (Red)

I yawned. I WAS getting tired to be honest. So I started up the car, and drove home.

We let my dad stay with us for the night. But me and Jess wouldn't give up our beds, so he stayed in the guest room. Last person that slept there was..Macy. I swear if I see that girl again, I'll punch her in the face!

As I got into my pajamas, Jess stopped me. "It's sure been a good day." Jess stretched and yawned at the same time. "Mhm, it sure has. I wonder what Red has in store for tomorrow."

Jess giggled then shrugged. "We never know." I hugged Jess. "Thanks for coming." I whispered. "No problem." she whispered back.

I got to my room and climbed in bed. Excited for what my next clue would be.
