Dinner comments

"Will you hand me my purse?" Jess asked as she applied one more coat of lipstick, making that "popping" sound with her lips. It was technically her and Ross's first time out together as a couple, and she wanted to look stunning. I stared at her and giggled. She looked at me her eyes narrowed. "What?"

"I think Ross will die from your beauty." I chuckled. She gave me a smile. "You think so?" I walked over and wrapped an arm around her, both of us looking into the mirror. "I know so."

At Olive Garden
We were all in our chairs eating. Everyone from the offices, Jess (Aphmau,) Shelby, Ross, Max, it was a splendid time. Small talk, and eating till we dropped. Then Shelby looked at me and Red. Her cute and innocent voice turned into an embarrassing and speechless couple of moments.

"So, when are you think on getting married? I mean, you've been dating..one..two years?"

Everyone stopped eating and looked at me and Red. We were both shocked. We gave each other looks. I finally cleared my throat. "That IS true.." I started. I rolled my eyes, then looked over to my boyfriend. "I feel like whenever it's the perfect time."

Everyone giggled, which made me more embarrassed. I went back to eating but I thought to myself:

"I mean..marriage? I'm ok with it but..is Red?"

I looked over to him. He was casually eating. He saw me and looked over my way. He smiled, I smiled back and continued eating.

"Who wants desert?" John clapped his hands together. We all raised our hands, but Tim. "I..ate too much." We all laughed.

After seven minutes of waiting, our desert finally came. I ordered a giant brownie, but what was in it, shocked me.

A paper! It read:

"Marriage? Gee, what a big step in our life. I'm in if you are. Anyways, go to the offices after dinner, I have a surprise for you."

Huh..wonder what surprise he has for me?

After finishing desert I went over to Red's car. "So where are we going?" I asked as he walked towards me and the car. "Oh no no no no." he said. I raised my eyebrow. "What?" He chuckled. "This is YOUR surprise, I can't go yet." I gave him a quick glare then nodded. "Ok, fine. But whatever it is it better be good." I gave him a quick kiss and got in my car and started for the offices.

At the office's parking lot
As I drove in, it was getting dark. So I turned on my headlights. But..I wonder what the surprise is? I quickly parked and got out of my car. It was dark, so I could barely see anything but shadows and the sun setting. But as I made my way towards the entrance door, there was a figure standing in front who I couldn't make out.

As I got closer though, everything snapped.

"Dad?!"
