Annabelle's P.O.V.
We had just enough time to eat lunch before we had to head to class. The worst part was that we had to split up because it was English.
We hadn't caught up with the guys yet so they didn't know the news.
While walking I was contemplating when our room mates, the only people in the school tha were ok with us, would start to hate us. It's inevitable.
I entered the door to English with my head down and went to an empty seat in the back. Of course, I was taunted jeered at on the way. The only good thing was that I could walk with no pain at all.
That thought elated me. It opened doors to the things I could do. Messing with Rain being one of them. Another good thing is that Rain doesn't have to stick to my side anymore.
There was a twinge in my heart as I thought this. It's good for him and I can't be so selfish. That's just like me isn't it? Looking at the things that would effect me.
Sometimes, the things these boys say are true, I guess.
With that thought I tuned back into the lesson.
When it finally ended I headed to my next class which was maths. Ussually I would wait for Rain but my leg's better so he doesn't need to worry about helping me to class.
As I was walking down the hall, I was pulled by a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned to face the threat and took a step back at who I saw.
It was Zane with a smug grin on his chisseled face.
"Where's lover-boy? Guess the people around here got to you." He laughed and I felt sick to my stomach. "It doesn't matter, what's done is done. And we all know what a bitch you are." Zane sneered, watching me squirm under the harsh gaze of the gathering crowd.
I tried to get by some students but was just shoved roughly back to my spot in front of Zane.
I'd never taken a beating from more than three people at the same time. This did not look good.
"Anything to say human?" Asked one of Zane's friend's.
I have to get out of here. "Can I j-just leave now, please?" I said in a timid and wavering voice.
He just laughed at me cruelly and then everyone else started.
"What have I ever done to you?" I said, making my voice stronger than I felt.
"What!?" Zane exclaimed before continuing; "You've done a lot and not just to me. You righteous bitch!" He yelled throwing his hands up for enphasis.
I tried to take a step back but was propelled forward by a set of arms. I stumbled loosing my footing slightly, ending up too close to Zane.
He grabbed the colar of my top, his eyes turning a little animal. Just like Rain's when he got really angry.
I squirmed trying to get out of his grip to no avail. He dragged me a bit and I was taken back to the past by the similar motions to my 'father'.
The crowd parted and Zane suddenly stopped, shoving me to the floor as he did.
He pointed an angry finger at me before shouting; "You don't belong here! You should be sent home, to your human home! You're a piece of trash that shouldn't be here! You shouldn't have the power to dictate things in our school! Bitch!"
He then slapped and the force sent my head snapping in the other direction. Oh! That was the strongest slap I'd ever felt.
I didn't even have time to move my head back as a hand caught me by my collar. Zane's hand.
