Chapter 2

Wolf's P.O.V.

The girl's hand strokes my back. I've never felt something so soft and gentle. She's so different to the man and the boy that ussually came. I've never seen a girl before. She smells so nice.

Her voice whispers in my ear. Gentle, reassuring words. I don't know what they mean but I am quickly becoming addicted to the sweet sound of her voice.

I feel her stop stroking me and whispering and see her sway from fatigue.

She walks away and I whine softly as her presense leaves. The girl walks a little bit away and sits down on the hard, cold stone floor.

I watch as the magical light from the tube thing disappears and darkness takes hold once again. All of my senses are concentrated on the dark against dark siluette curled up on the floor.

Her breathing slows and her tensed muscles relax. I don't like seeing her on the hard ground in this cold.

My legs twitch wanting to be near her, wanting to curl up around her. I pad over to her but am stopped by the chains that have always been there.

I change and reach as far as I can and drag her to within reach. I wrap my arms around her and pull her onto my lap.

I burry my face into her hair loving her scent, loving the feel of her warm, soft body in my arms. Wanting to hear her angelic voice again but settling for her being this close to me.

I lean into her and let the best sleep I've ever had take over me.

**************5:00 in the morning**************

Someone jumping away from me wakes me up. I look up and see the siluette of the gentle girl.

I stand up stepping towards her but after the third step the chains tighten. I smell the fear she feels but I don't understand why she'd be afraid of me. I am, after all chained to a wall and surrounded by people who find joy in hurting me. I'm helpless down here and they all know it but she's different, she hasn't taken advantage of it.

I look at her, pleading. Hoping she won't stay out of reach, hoping to feel her soft body against mine again.

"You don't understand a word I say, do you?" I want to thank her for speaking, but I don't know how.

"You want something." She took a step closer. I don't understand the words. They could be about how she'll torture me for all I know.

She came closer and the careful part of me said to back away. I don't want to but it feels like I have to. I back away my breathing becoming louder.

"I'm not going to hurt you."

I back away. She comes closer and puts her hands up, palm open still staring at me.

My back is pressed against the wall. She comes closer. Her hand reaches up and strokes my face. I accept it eagerly, pressing my face into her callosed but soft hands.

"See, I told you I wouldn't hurt you." She said softly as if she was offended about something.

"Ok, so you know I wont hurt you but will you hurt me?" She sounded scared and confused, careful. I don't know what she's saying but it's obviously important.

"Ok, so I'm going to teach you some words....yeah that could work." She said walking over and picking up the light tube thing. I pulled against the chains wanting to see the light again. See the light without getting beaten, without being hurt. Without being alone.

She turned it on and looked at me. I was so intranced by all the light, I've never seen more than the light coming from the open door.
