Sorry, Corporal (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 7

"Wake up brat." You hear a cold voice pull you back down to Earth as you're poked in the cheek continuously. You groan and turn over, pulling the blanket over your head.

"Do you really want to stay under there?" Levi smirks, and you can hear clothing being moved. You peek out and see a shirtless Levi half-sitting on your bedside cabinet.

"It's okay if you want to, I mean I'm sure Petra would rather a morning kiss anyways from a shirtless me." He smirks and starts walking towards his door.

"Oi! Get back here mister, I'm cold.." You yell tiredly. He stops and turns around, practically jumping onto you as he curls himself around you and wraps his arms around your waist, burying his face in your neck.

"This better?" You can feel his warm breath tickling you and the heat radiating off his body. You nod and smile, cuddling back into him.

You stay like that for about 5 minutes when Levi reluctantly gets up.

"You made this hard.." You smirk and slide yourself out of the blankets.

"You're telling me. Now why is it you wanted me out of bed so early?" You scowl, pulling on your uniform as Levi re-dresses into his and pulls you into a kiss. You're the first to pull away and look into his eyes.

"You're meeting your teamates today, hun." You smile when he calls you 'hun'. You love it when he says a term of endearment, like 'hun' or 'dear' etc. You soon scoff though, and roll your eyes, heading into his office.

"You not showering?" He eyes you up and down, a little bit 'meh'. You shake your head smirking.

"But-.." You roll your eyes before he can finish and silence him by quickly plant a kiss on his lips and heading into the bathroom. You strip down and turn on the shower.

"(f/n), this is Petra, Oluo, Gunther and Eld. Squad, this is (f/n) (l/n)." You shake hands with them all and smile. Levi's tone of voice and expression is once more emotionless and bored, unlike when he's alone with you when it's slightly more.. Happy? Although it was normal for him.

"A pleasure to meet you all, I'm excited to work with you!" You smile happily at them and head off to the Mess Hall where you see all your former comrades and squad leaders, including their squad members.

"(f/n)!"

"(f/n)?!"

Your name is called as you grab some food and run over to the table with all the former 104th Trainee Squad members are sat. You exchange some heys and hugs then glancing over at Levi to see if it was okay to sit with them. He merely rolls his eyes and lets out a small 'tch' sound, which you took as a yes.

"I haven't seen you guys for ... Well I would say ages but it's only been about 3 days aha... But it's great to see you again!" I took a seat next to Eren and Armin. "So you guys have been put into squads?" They all nodded, and you looked into the bowl of soup you're currently eating. "It's a shame none of you are in the Special Operations Squad then, I could use an old friend to bring me back to Earth." You chuckle a little, your face dropping too before Eren turns to you.

"Actually, (f/n), there's something we haven't mentioned." You turn to look at him expectantly, raising an eyebrow.

"I sort of made it into the Special Operations Squad.. More like Captain Short-ass is gonna be watching over me." You giggle at his nickname for Levi, but then turn serious.

"Why? How? Is everything okay?"

You look around and see everyone shift uncomfortably.

"Eren?"

"(f/n), I'm a Titan-shifter."

Silence.

You're stunned, half of you wanting to kill him right there and then, but the other half realizing he's obviously different, not like the other bloodthirsty Titans. You took a deep breath to calm yourself.

"So.. You can .. You can change into a Titan?" He nods, fiddling with his fingers nervously. You rest your hand on his knee.

"Stop freaking out, you know I won't kill you." You smile, and he sighs with relief as everyone goes back to their chitter-chatter. "I'm just.. Surprised, I guess. But you're strong, so I know that your 'Titan abilities' will be used for the better, and you'll be able to control them too." You smile reassuringly, seeing that he wasn't too sure about himself either.

You finish off your soup, bread and cheese, well, more like soup and cheese as you gave up your bread for Sasha (as usual), and stand up, saying your goodbyes to everyone and heading back to your room. You open the door to find Levi holding a letter. He looks up at you with sorrow in your eyes as he drops the letter and runs to you, hugging you tightly.

"Levi? What's that he-" You recognize the writing and parchment and close your eyes and they start to well up. You shake your head and start to feel angry before you suddenly burst.

"SHIT LEVI! WHAT THE FUCK?! WHY DID YOU READ THAT?!" You pull away hastily and pick up the letter.

He looks at the floor, clearly ashamed.

"I didn't realize what it was.. Remember that shirt I lent you two days ago? Well I came in here to talk to you about something, and then I thought I might as well get the shirt while I'm here and I came across that while I was trying to find it... (f/n), I'm so sorry, I d-"

No. That wasn't enough. Sorry wasn't enough. It would've been okay if..

"Why the FUCK did you read it then? Coming across it is one thing, but reading it? That's something else entirely Levi." Your voice is hard and cold, and tears are streaming down your face. "If you wanted to find out about my past, I might've told you had you asked. But this?" You hold up the letter and shake your head. "This is going too far you little twat." You go into the closet and toss over his shirt. "There's your shirt, now go." You spit.

"Wait, I wanted to talk to you ab-"

"I don't give a shit what you wanted to talk to me about. If it's anything important, then I can go to the Commander. Now get out of my fucking sight before I change my mind of letting you out without any damage." Levi turns around, his head still down and walks out, closing the door behind him. You hear his footsteps fade as he heads towards his study.

You sit down on the bed, tears still falling as you look at the letter again, re-reading it. You stuff it into your draw, buried underneath your clothes, and tuck yourself under the blanket.

'What did I do..'

You close your eyes and try to go to sleep, tears still falling slowly.

Levi's pov

I walk out of her room and into my study, slamming the door and sliding down it until I hit the floor. I bury my face in my hands, shaking my head.

'What did you do.. You read the letter, when you knew you should've just put it back..'

"FOR FUCK SAKE LEVI WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?!" I shout at myself, then realizing I was crying.

'I've never showed any emotion or affection towards anyone since Isabel and Farlan.. And the one person that I let in, the one person that catches my attention and accepts me, despite the wall I put up.. I destroy. The one person who saw right through my wall.. The person that I fucking love!.. I just had to read it.. I just had to ruin it! It's like.. Isabel and Farlan. You fucked up, and they payed the price..'

I sighed, crying a little harder everytime I thought about it.

'You're not the one that should be crying about this you little prick.'
