Chapter 9

2 years later

"Leevviii!" You yell through to his bedroom, sighing impatiently.

"(f/n), seriously. We don't have to leave for another hour, please come back to bed..." His voice is croaky and hoarse. You roll your eyes lean against the doorframe, gazing at Levi amazing body.

Today you got to go home. Today, was the day, you got to see Riley again. You just hoped he would still be there..

Levi sneaks up as you're thinking and throws you into bed, hovering just over you. He gives you a quick kiss before rolling over and dragging you into his arms, pulling you close to his chest.

"Levi..." You heard a small groan escape his lips, so you continued.

"What if he's not there anymore?" You're eyes start to well up as you think about it but you quickly blink them away.

"Listen. If the brat decided to pick up and leave, then we'll find him, I promise. We're not coming back here until we know where he is and we've seen him." Levi mumbles into your ear before burying his face in your neck and falling back asleep. You tried joining him but in the end you gave up and just closed your eyes to make it easier to think.

'Please be safe, bro..'

You pull Levi out to the carriage, holding tightly onto his hand. By now people know you're in a relationship and don't say anything anymore, which relieved you. You hated when you'd get jealous looks, which you still do but not as much, or when Oluo or Eld would make a sly comment about you.

You sit down next to Levi as he wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you in for a kiss. He moves some of your (h/c) hair out of your face and presses his lips to yours gently. You pull away and sigh, leaning your head on his shoulder.

"Get some rest, sweetie. You didn't sleep well last night, I can tell." His soft voice sends you off into a deep sleep.

Levi's pov

I can tell she's nervous, I was just hoping she wouldn't do something stupid if we couldn't find him.. I made him a promise though, so I guess I have to stick to it.. For her.

I move her head onto my lap, leaning down and planting a kiss on her cheek as she sleeps.

'It'll be my fault if we can't find him... I'm sorry.'

Your pov

You wake up to Levi whispering your name in your ear softly.

"Hm?" You get up slowly and look outside.

'We're here..'

"D'you sleep well, Sleeping Beauty?" He smirks, standing up and leading out of the carriage. He instantly pulls you into a quick kiss and walks away, heading into the underground.

"Ready?" You nod, biting your lip nervously. "Lets do this then." He interlocks your fingers and squeezes once, motioning for you to lead as he didn't know where you were going.

"This is it, this is where I used to live..." You mumble. "Nothing says home better than this." You wink at Levi and walk in, yelling out,

"Lil' bro? Riley? Bubs, I'm home!" You waited for an answer. Silence. You run upstairs to where you used to sleep, although the stairs had crumbled since so it made it just that little harder.

"Riley? Bubby, I'm home!" You still hear nothing but silence. Your face drops as Levi appears in the doorway. "He's not here.." You sigh and walk out of the house.
