YELLOW

"Wala ba talagang way?" Maine asked as she munched the popcorn from the bowl on her lap.

They were in her condo watching a movie. It was a rare night off for them and instead of going home to their respective hometown, they had chosen to spend a much needed quality time together.

Maine wanted to have a backyard movie date but it was raining and she doesn't have a backyard. So, they make do with spreading out a comforter on her floor, and sitting there instead of the perfectly comfortable couch that RJ was leaning into. Maine was comfortably leaning on him on his right.

"You know I would If I could," he replied placing his right hand on top of her head.

"If I could, then I would," she sang and chuckled. "Wait! Alam mo ba kasunod nun?" She shoot up and looked at him, beaming.

"I'll go wherever you will go," they sang in unison.

"See? Pati kanta pabor sakin," she said smugly before going back to her original position and munching on her popcorn again.

"And you know I will do that, kaya lang, love, hindi na talaga na ayos yung sched ko eh. Kelangan mag catch up sa lahat ng na resched at cancel nung pumunta tayong Italy and Morocco," he said regrettably

"I know," she grabbed the hand that was casually slung over her shoulder and pressed a kiss on his palm. "Sorry. Kasi naman magiging 100x more na best gift ever to kung kasama kita," she pouted.

"Talaga?" he teased. "Ganun ka importante presence ko dun?"

She moved away from him again for him to see her nodding vigorously. He chuckled.

"Sus, If I know makakalimutan mo na ko pag nasa harap mo na si Chris Martin," he crossed his arms over his chest and feigned hurt.

"Drama mo!" she pinched his cheek and detangled his hand so that she could lay back on him again. "Tutal di ka naman pwede sumama, kay Chris Martin na lang muna ako."

"Ah ganun ha," he said threateningly and then a tickle war ensued.

Maine was typing away on her laptop—she was trying to chronicle their vacation in LA—when her phone rang and vibrated. She glanced at it and smiled upon seeing the name on the screen. She swiped the phone screen to answer the call but didn't pick it up and left it lying on the bed and continued typing.

It connected and RJ's face appeared.

"Hello?" he greeted hesitantly since he was only seeing the celling on his end.

"Hi!" Maine answered.

"I can't see you. Naging Ant-Man ka na ba?" he asked seriously.

"Ang geeky mo lang," she laughed.
