Chapter8 Chopsticks

Masomi's POV

"Get the choosticks."Ino said pointing to a box of wooden chopsticks."I never eat with chopsticks."I said pondering on the subject."If were eating ramen we need them and I'll teach you how to use them before the party."She said in a persuasive tone."I guess I can't argue with that."I said giving Ino a wink.She blushed and tossed the chopsticks in her basket.I continued to watch her as she looked around.Her facial expression would change depending on what she was thinking and I was thinking about her as more than just friendly terms.I never though of other girls like that and this was surprising.I like how she speaks her mind and blushes everytime I got playful.I was snapped back intimately reality when she called my name.Looking around I spotted her holding a little girl who looked no older than four.I looked at the kid to see she had watering eyes and snot running from her nose."What's the matter?"I asked her kneeling down to her level."Mommy was picking da candies but I wonted da cookies so I went awound da stoy an..an mommy was gowen."The girl explained wiping her nose on her sleeve and looking sad.As I turned to look up at Ino I recognized a determined look in her eyes."Come on lets go find your mom."She cooed cuddling the cute kid.I focused my smell senses on the girl and detected the same smell on someone an ile over."She's in the pastries ile."I said leading them to said ile.As we came into the pastries ile.I spotted a woman that closely resembled the girl."Mommy!"The girl called happily and ran to the woman.Her mom picked her up and hugged her lovingly.I stood there awkwardly as Ino smiled brightly.Scratching my neck I chuckled lightly."Thank you two so much for bringing Kina back,I was so worried."The mother said standingin front of us holding the girl who's name was Kina."No problem."Ino replied.Kina hopped from her moms arms and hugged Ino's legs."Thankyou miss."Kina thanked."You can call me Ino."Ino replied as the mom picked Kina up and smiled thankfully."If its not too much trouble can I invite you and your daughter to a little celebration that I having at 8:00?"Ino asked hopefully."Tell me the address and we will be there,and just call me Mrs.Yorie."Her mom said happily.After Ino gave them the information on a sheet of paper they parted ways."Ino."I called getting her attention."Yeah?"She asked."I think that was cool."I said looking away and wishing I could express my thoughts with better words."Thanks but you helped too,so that's just as the"cool."She said looking down to hide fer flaming cheeks.I took her chin in my fingers instinctively looking into her sea blue eyes.She tried looking away but ended up looking back into my eyes.We were like that for about six seconds until someone stopped beside us.Both of us pulled away and she greeted him as I looked away cursing myself."Oh.Hi Chogi,what are you doing here?"Ino asked sheepishly."Sakura said there's gonna be a party at some new kids house so I was bringing chips.To shear."He added."Your questioning me,but who is he,your boyfriend?"Making kissy faces at Ino.Something hit a nurve giving me the urge to break his neck.Ino slammed her fist down on his head."That's one of the new kids and mind your own business."She said looking at me.I waved."Ok,see you two love birds at the party!"He called running away.Ino turned to me and blushed."Are we gonna shop or stand here?"She asked.I smirked and took the basket."Ill carry this."I stated.Ino smiled a breath taking smile and nodded in delight."Now where are the hot pockets?"I asked with a smirk.

Kimiko'POV

"Look at that one,it looks like your head!"I exclaimed pointing at the cloud that resembled a duck's rear."Not really,its more like......"Sasuke trailed off only making me laugh harder."Ok enough clouds,lets go do something fun."I said standing up and pulling Sasuke to his feet.We walked for a while and came across a water baloon stan."What are you doing?"He asked following my gaze."Lets prank all the boys at the party."I suggested grinning mischievously."Pranks aren't really my thing."Sasuke replied then turned to walk the other way."Bock!"I croaked causing him to stop dead in his tracks."Are you calling me,chicken?"He asked smirking.I smirked back and picked up a water baloon."What if I am?"I pressed on tossing the baloon up and down in my hand and catching it with ease."You wouldn't dear."He said folding his arms arrogantly.I threw the baloon into his face from a yard away.The baloon smacked against his face popping and drenching his face,hair and shirt.Quickly I ran to the pile of water balloons but to my surprise Sasuke had thrown shiriken into it,causing it to soak me and the angry merchant.I stood there soaked from head to toe stearing at the half soaked Uchiha.Suddenly I erupted into laughter causing him to smirk at how ironic my situation was."Whose a chicken now?"He asked arrogantly."Still you."I said calmly looking around.He followed my gaze and as he looked away I pulled out a hidden balloon and threw it into his face.He wiped fiercely at his eyes then removed his shirt."W-what are you doing?"I asked looking away and blushing."Oh nothing.I'm just........."He trailed off.Sasuke grabbed me around the waist and pulled me against him shaking the water from his hair onto me."Aggghhh!"I screamed breaking his grip and running away laughing like a maniac.He chuckled to himself and gave chase.I held back my true speeds only using enough to stay ahead of him.As we ran we passed Sakura and a group of people.I hopped from the ground to the balcony of my room using chakra.When I was inside I stood at the edge of a red cover that I had left on the floor this morning.When Sasuke ran in I pulled the sheet from under his feet causing him to fall on his back stunned.Taking advantage of his surprise I rolled him into an Uchiha burito and slid him under my bed leaving his head exposed.I stood over him smiling from ear to ear."Told you so."I taunted."Told me what?"He asked."I don't remember but maybe after this shower I will."I said aloud walking to my closet and grabbing my pjs."Don't you dare leave me here!"He screamed."Oh yeah,I totally dare."I replied smoothly going into my bathroom to take a long hot shower.
