Chapter13 To the leaf

Masomi'sPOV

The next morning

I sat at the foot of my bed shirtless,dressed in black gym shorts and red socks.All night I had sat like this,simply staring at the wall and remembering the leaf.*Atleast their all safe.*I thought bitterly.Standing up I walked over to my closet extracting my ninja clothes and weapons."Come in."I said casually.Suki walked in and quietly closed the door behind her.She then sat at the foot of my bed.I already knew her and Sasha had feeling for me and she was probably here to come clean about it."Masomi I've been thinking and what if one of us die in the chunnin exams?"I sat beside her wrapping an arm around her shoulder and hugging her tightly."Suki I promise that as long as I'm on your side no-one in our squad will be harmed."I said kissing the top of her head softly."I just wanted to tell you that I love you."She said sadly getting quiet as she spoke."Why are you sad?"I asked confused."You don't love me back."She whispered."What,don't ever say that.I do love you but we just can't be together."I tried to make sense of it."Masomi we've known one another for some time,yet no-one knows of your past."She said looking up at me."You don't want to know about my past.Its a story full of death and heart break."I whispered back to her looking away."I still want to know."She said stubbornly."Go get Sasha up we're leaving for the leaf today."I said changing the subject.She nodded and stood up."Masomi?"she asked making me look at her.She kissed me on the lips causing feelings I didn't want to feel come back.I kissed back passionately then pulled away.She turned and walked out leaving me confused and breathless.I sat there for a few minutes before going to take a shower.After that I got dressed and strapped up my talons retracting the claws,and pulling my mask down to my neck for easy access.I entered the kitchen to see the strange sight of Suki's mom cooking breakfast.She was hardly ever home and when she was she never cooked.I sat at the table and looked back at me smiling beautifully."Good morning Masomi."She greeted kindly.I simply nodded."Not a morning person are you?"She asked looking at her task at hand."I'm sorry,Its just that old friends are also going to the exams and I have to hide my face behind a mask."I complained."Don't fret over things like that.If it weren't for you leaving they would most likely be dead."She said justifying my actions."Thanks for everything."I said sencearly adjusting my headband.She smiled and sat three plates on the table.Just then Suki entered the kitchen with Sasha in tow.Killer was following Sasha furiously attacking her tail as it drug behind her."Masomi get your stupid fluff ball."She complained trying to kick the small black and white rabbit.I leaned my head back causing my long ponytail to be low enough to the ground so Killer could climb it and sit on my head.We all sat at the table eating breakfasts together in peace until Killer hopped from my head to Sasha's hand and bit her finger.Everyone laughed with the exception of Sasha who chased Killer under the refrigerator.I stood up and slid a carrot under the fridge."Good job boy."I whispered as he came out and climbed up my arm to my shoulder."Come on lets go."I said.They finished eating and followed me outside except Suki's mom."Hold on this will be a bumpy ride."I said extending an arm for them to hold on to tightly.Killed crawled into my pocket and stuck his head out to watch what was happening.Changing us all into lightning I transported us th the forest right outside the leaf village gate and out of the guards sight.Feeling the loss of power I fell back into the girls arms and lost conchessness.

Kimiko'sPOV

"No Sasuke,stop!"I cried through fits of giggles as he tickled me mercilessly.I pushed him away catching my breath and running away from the training grounds to the leaf gate."Kim,come on I'm not done yet!"I heard him call as he chased me.When I got to the gate three ninja from another village were coming in as well."Hey!"I called running up beside them.They stopped and I noticed the two girls were carrying the sleeping boy."Can you show us to a hotel?"The blue haired girl asked?I clapped my hands and squealed."Come on!"I exclaimed running.They huffed but followed."Wait!"I heard Sasuke scream and they stopped and actually start waiting."No,don't wait on him he's crazy and violent!"I screamed to then and continued to run.They now ran faster after me.We arrived at the hotel and ran in.The went to the receptionist and payed for a key as I barricaded the door with lobby chairs and plants."Young lady you can't do that."The receptionist behind the desk said annoyed."Hey,don't tell me what I can't do!"I screamed back defensively."One room."The white haired girl ordered.The woman gave her a key and they went to the opened elevator.Sasuke burst through the door and I ran sliding into the door right before it could close all the way.The tow girls looked at me with wide eyes like I was crazy."Just to clear things up,I'm not crazy."I stated noticing the black bunny sitting on the sleep boys chest."Aww,she's so cute,what's her name?"I cooed picking it up and giving it a hug."It's a boy and his name is Killer."The kitty girl said taking the bunny.I pouted."The elevator is too slow."I commented climbing the emergency ladder and pushing off the escape hatch."Are you crazy."Blue hair demanded as I pulled my upper half through the hole.The elevator stopped and the door opened.I felt strong arms grabbing my legs.I kicked as Sasuke pulled me into his arms."I'm sorry you all had to put up with her."He apologiesd to the girls as they ran out the elevator.He pulled me into a tight hug so I couldn't run."Let go!"I screamed."Stop struggling."He complained annoyed."Make me!"I challenged biting his shoulder.He sihed having been use to my weak bites by how many times I bit him."I have candy."He said letting me go at the same time I let go.I looked at him with puppy dog eyes."Can I please have some?"I asked tugging at his arm.He dug in his pocket and pulled out a pack of gummi worms.After opening the pack he grabbed a hand full and gave me the pack."Thank you Sasuke-kun."I said kissing his cheek.He took my hand in his as the elevator hit main floor and walked me our the lobby.As I passed the desk I stuck my tungg out at the receptionist.We walked hand in hand to the Uchiha compound.I moved in after my brother disappeared because me and Sasuke are in a committed relationship.When we got home I sat on the couch and looked at the clock which read 9:00pm.I looked at Sasuke who was watching me from the kitchen."Stop watching me!"I screamed throwing a pillow at his head.After it hit him I could hear him scuffle a laugh."Sasuke."I called stepping into the kitchen.He was stirring a pot of miso ramen."Can I make some brownies?"I begged.He simply shook his head."Whyyyyyyyy?"I whined."A fresh batch of cookies are already made in the oven."He said pouring me a big bowl of ramen.I quickly walked to the oven grabbing two cookies and hiding them in my pockets."Put them back."He said without even looking back."But."I began but he turned around smirking."Ok!"I shouted putting one back.He handed me my bowl of ramen and got his after putting away the food.I stuffed the entire cookie in my mouth as Sasuke sihed and shook his head in disapproval.We went to Sasuke's room and sat together in bed as we ate.Like always I finished first."Sasuke can I have some more?"I asked showing him my empty bowl."If you want more go to the kitchen and get some from the pot in the fridge."He instructed eating his.I grabbed a hand full of his and stuffed it in my mouth."You said you wouldn't do that anymore."He accused finishing his food."No I didn't,I said Id stop drawing on the room wall."I corrected him."But you still draw on the bedroom wall."Sasuke argued.He got our empty bowls and took them downstairs.I opened his secret stash that just happened to be the bottom drawer on the nightstand and took a lemon cookie stuffing it in my mouth then climbing on the bed like nothing happened.Sasuke walked in with two bowls of milk and a tray of fresh chocolate chipp cookies.As soon as he sat the cookies down he took two and I started devouring the rest.He drunk both bowls of milk and took the dishes out.When he came back he turned off the light and laied down.I cuddled up against his chest as he put an arm around my waist pulling by back against his chest."Good luck tomorrow."He said giving me a light kiss."You too."I replied then slowly but surly drifted off into a semi peaceful sleep.
