That night
It felt great to finally get out the snow.As we drove we traveled threw a forest that wasn't on the map."Let me look at this map."I said suddenly stopping.Kim handed me the map and just as I expected it was upside down.I looked at her with a raised eyebrow."What?"She asked cluelessly."The map was upside down."I said with a soft groan."No it isn't.Look."She said grabbing the map from me."These V things must be like trees or something,and these wired symbols are a strange language."She said triumphantly.I turned it right side up and handed it to her."Ohhhhhh."She said looking embarrased."We need food and shelter for the night so lets set up camp here."I suggested getting off the bike.Kim hopped up and looked around."I'm starving,but there isn't any food here."I smirked and threw my dagger.It stabbed into a hawk in mid air and pinned the bird to a tree by the wing.Kim gasped."I'm not looking that."She protested foulding her arms over her chest.I shrugged and walked towards the hawk drawing my sword to finish it.Kim hugged me from behind."Don't kill it.What did she do to you?"The hawk struggled free and ran into a bush leaving a trail of blood.I frowned,and pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration."Kimiko go set up camp.Here."I handed her my Iphone for a source of light.She walked away trying to find a way to turn on the screen.I followed her giving up an finding food.We stopped in a small clearing between close trees and I zapped a branch in a tree making it fall to the ground on fire.Kim flinched and looked at me scoldingly.I shrugged and sat by the fire.She looked exhausted.Spreading my coat I stood up and helped Kim lay on it comfortably.Her eyes closed and in seconds she was sleep.I layed on my back looking up at the starz.There was the slightest exhale of a breath in the tree behind me.I sihed and stood up ignoring the eerie presence of eyes watching me.The presence was gone in seconds and I walked over to Kim and slid her sword out her belt loop.The katana was a work of a true craftsman.The red handle had a no slip grip and the blade was platinum with small rubies lining the dull part.I swung the blade marvaling at the lightness.I heard a twig snap and spun quick on my heels slashing a kuni at midthrow.A strange man stood in a tree dressed in short black pants,a long sleeved black shirt,black sandles and a green vest.His mouth and nose were concealed by a mask and he wore a head band that covered one eye.My eyes landed on his gravity defying white hair.I looked back at Kim who was still sound asleep and then back to the man."Why are you spying on me and my sister?"I asked coldly.He looked at me bordly and jumped down."I'm a ninja of the hidden leaf and have been sent to find two strange chakra signatures in this area."He replied bordly."Ninja,Chakra?I don't understand your stupid*Ninja*talk,so speak English."I insulted loosing patients.He chuckled."What are you laughing at?"I demanded."It's just that you have such strong chakra,and expect me to believe your not a Ninja."He said seriously."We don't have*Ninjas*where we're from."I said seriously."Follow me so you can speak to the Hokage."He said turning and walking off.*Who does he think he is,walking off like I'll follow him.*I thought.I quickly grabbed Kim wrapping her in my coat.Then spead After him on my motorcycle at about 20mphs.We arrived at this giant red dome shaped building in a large village.I got off my bike carryng Kim bridal style.He led in through a bunch of halls and into a large office with a full view of the night time village.There was an elderly man dressed in a white robe and ugly hat sitting at a desk looking at us."Kakashi are these the ones with the strange chakra?"The Hokage asked surprised."It seems."Kakashi replied respectfully."You may leave.I must speak to our New commers alone."Kakashi bowed and poofed away in a cloud of white smoke."So your the Hokage?"I asked in a doubtful tone."Yes and you are...."He pressed on."Masomi,and Kimiko Nakoda."He nodded."What do you want exactly?"I asked laying Kim on the desk as her drool dripped on my arm."Ill cut you a deal.I want you and your sister to both be Ninja here."He proposed."Does this*ninja*job pay?"I asked suspiciously.He nodded."It pays a lot depending on what missions you complete."He explained.I nodded."Deal."I said hiding my excitement.He handed me a key and a small sheet of paper."What's this?"I asked curiously."Your new home."He answered simply.I grabbed Kim and left driving around in search for our apartment.People looked out their windows at me as I stopped at an apartment building.I unlocked the door and looked threw the house.There was already furniture and food in the kitchen.I cearfully carried Kim into the master bedroom and tucked her in.Shutting the door quietly I walked to the kitchen and made me some instant ramen.As I are at the table I felt relieved.When I was done I went into the other room after making sure to lock all the doors and windows.Sleepy I flopped on the bed and pulled a blanket on me."I could get use to this place."I mumbled then drifted into a peacefull slumber.
