Chapter7 Chakra

Morning time
Masomi's POV

I awoke to a strong smell of smoke and realised that I was dressed drenched in sweat.My hair clung to my face as I stood up and entered the kitchen wielding my sword,in anticipation of another attack.As I stalked into the kitchen I spotted Kim launching a flaming pot out the window."Oh my god!!!"A voice cried from outside."Sorry!!!"She screamed out the window then ducked as what looked to be a coal rock flung into the window and shattered beside my head.I chuckled and sat at the table lying my sword on its surface.Kim looked back at me with an apologetic smile."Sooooo."She trailed off."Did you just see that?"She asked with a nervous chuckle."Only if you wanted me to."I replied smirking."What were you trying to cook?"I asked wandering how she set a stainless steel pot on fire."Pancakes."she answered fidgeting with her fingers."That person still shouldent have thrown a rock at you."I said trying to cheer her up."That was a pan cake,not a rock."She corrected embarrassed.I retaining a fit of laughter."Ill stick to cooking breakfasts,you can go get dressed."I said as I looked through the refrigeration."K,k"She said then her footsteps grew distant.I took out a batch of biscuits and put that along with some bacon in the oven.After a few minutes of standing and stealing glances at the food it was done.I sat all the biscuits and bacon on a large platter and sat out a jar of jelly and block of cheese."Breakfasts!!"I called up stairs and took two bacon filled biscuits to my room.Ino and Sakura were still asleep and as far from eachother as possible.I ate the biscuits quickly and gently shook Ino.She groans and scrunches her nose up in displeasure.Her eyes flutter open and a light smile plays upon her lips."Good morning."I said kindly."I could get use to this."She says blushing slightly.I leaned past Ino to wake Sakura but Ino caught my hand.I looked at her with a quizzical expression."I was wandering if we could hang out after your training?"She asked silently."Actually that was the plan."I said looking back towards Sakura."I meant just us two ya'know,like a date?"She says blushing harder.Surprise came over my face but then I smiled a kind smile."If that's what you want."I replied then shook Sakura awake softly.Ino was already out the room and Sakura blindly threw a punch which almost landed on my face.She looked up and recognition and embarrasment came over her features."Breakfast is in the kitchen."I said guarding my face."I'm so sorry."She apologised and tried to come closer.I stepped back and grabbed an outfit from my closet."Its alright you didn't hit me."I reasured her then went into my bathroom to get ready.I brushed my teeth,took a shower and got dressed.I looked in the mirror as I rung out my hair.After it was dry I put it in a low ponytail and let my bang cover my right eye.I was wearing a red long sleeved shirt with a collar like Sasuke has,a pair of black kakie shorts and black combat boots.My socks reached my shins and my sleeves were folded revealing my tattoo covered arms and black fingerless gloves.I walked out the bathroom and down stairs.After getting a kung pouch from the bag full of our ninja tools I entered the kitchen and picked up my katana also sliding my magnums into my pockets which somehow his them exceptionally well.Kim,Ino and Sakura all sat at the kitchen table ready and talking about boys and other normal stuff.Kim never got a shot at a normal life and watching her engage in this conversation with normal girls brought happiness to my semi-cold heart.That Sasuke kid's name kept popping up every time they said things about"Cute boys."

Ino would say things like I know whose hotter and Kim would ask who but she whouldent say.After Ino caught me staring she blushed furiously.I smirked and winked playfully.Kim was wearing a out fit similar to Ino.She had on a blue highcollared shirt and a frilly black skirt that stopped at mis thy.She had on blue kneehigh socks and black Ugg boots.Her arms had black bandages wrapped around her elbows and she was wearing fingerless blue gloves with black kuni designs.Her hair was in curls that bounced gracefully at the slightest movement of her head."You girls ready?"I asked pulling out my phone and checking the time.It read 9:30am."I was born ready!"Kim exclaimed as They all stood and followed me out the door.I looked back to see Kim going the other way then grabbed her shoulder lightly."This way."I said then turned walking ahead of them so they could talk about girly things.When we were a few steps from the training field I heard an object slicing through the wind in my direction.I drew my magnum and shot a kuni out the air.My magnum had a silent barrel so it didn't make the gunshot sound.Kakashi,Sasuke and Naruto hopped from a near by tree and landed infront of us."Job well done but may I ask what deflected the kuni?"Kakashi asked.Everyone suddenly stared at me with curiosity in their eyes even Kim."A bullet."I answered simply.They all shrugged then Kakashi led us to the training field.There was a grassy field surrounded by trees and a lake ran right through the middle.Kakashi stepped in front of Kim and I."Our first assignment will be chakra control."He said pointing to his chest.I smirked as Kim smiled."Lets do this,now where are they!?"Kim exclaimed punching her open palm with her fist.The group erupted into laughs with the exception of me.Kakashi simply did what seemed to be a closed eyed smile as Sasuke smirked in amusement.I was confused but didn't show it."What's chakra?"I asked sarcastically."Kakashi scratched his head in deep thought."Well chakra is..I mean its like power inside you."He attempted to explain."You mean like a heart beat?"Kim asked."Close but not exactly.Focus and tell me when you can feel a power pulsing from your chest to the rest of your bod."He directed.I began to do so and my concentration was broken by a sound that closely resembled wind.I looked to the side at Kim who was holding a fist up as a white aura swarmed around her.The group looked shocked."Am I doing it right?"She asked smiling.Kakashi nodded."Follow me Kim."He said and walked onto the lake.My eyes widened as Kim did the same."Any day now Masomi."Kim sang waving at me as the white aura disappeared and only little coated the bottom of her boots as she watched me expectantly.At that moment I could feel the force they were talking about,Chakra.A black foggy aura engulfed my body and it moaned instead of whistled.Kakashi watched me closely as I walked out onto the lake.I looked down to see the dark aura only engulfed the bottom of my boots."Now to test your focus."Kakashi said and began to throw well aimed kuni at us.I pulled out my sword and deflected them easily as Kim gracefully spun and jumped around dodging the knives.It looked as If she were doing a dance."Well done,but now is where this training will show true control."Kakashi commented.The four spectators cheered us on with the exception of Sasuke who only watched with interest."Now you will demonstrate a simple jutsu."The masked man continued."What are Jutsu?"Kim asked stepping off the lake."Jutsu are an outlet for chakra through hand signs or thought."He explained."Sounds easy enough."Kim commented."Follow my lead and try to only form two clones."He instructed and put his hands together.We followed as he weaved a chain of signs and did it easily."Shadow clone Jutsu."He called followed by us.A huge cloud of smoke formed around us.As It cleared I looked to see three of Kim and kakashi."Well done."Kakashi congratulated letting his clones poof away.I raised an eyebrow and looked around.Like him and Kim two replications of me stood at my sides.Kim did a high five with her clones then they poof away said did mine."Those were the basics of chakra and now to go into kuni."Kakashi said digging in his pocket and pulling out four kuni.""Throw these until you hit one of my bullzeyes he camanded throwing a knife at piercing speed into the center of a bullzeye hanging from a tree."That's too easy!"Kim said and as to prove her comment she threw four of her own kuni back to back and they all embedded in the bullzeye.I nodded and threw four more which bunched up with hers.Everyone clapped as I stood there unfazed and Kim bowed jokingly."Alright then,since it seems to me that both of you are a natural,I'll skip to the last test."He said then paused causing a silent tension."You just have to take this bell from me."He said tossing a bell up and down in his hand.Everyone gasped with the exception of me,Kakashi,Kim and Sasuke."I'll go easy on you."I boasted pulling out my gloves tighter onto my hands."I can do this with my eyes closed."Kim bragged as she stretched her right arm behind her head."Begin."Kakashi said calmly.Kim dashed at him and he ran towards her.I followed behind Kim and Kakashi threw a punch for her face which she dodged allowing me to.catch his fist.His eyes widened before Kim slammed her fist into his face.He flew back and I threw a kuni at lightning speed.The kuni cut the bell from his pants and pinned them to a tree.The tumbling Kakashi poofed leaving a log in his place.My eyes widened as I spotted a hand grab hold of the kuni from.behind the tree."No fair!!"Kim complained stomping the ground."I know you both can do this so get down to it."He said pulling out a small book.I smirked and appeared beside him in a spark of purple lightning.He stepped back avoiding a power full punch then a spark of blue lightning appeared behind him and Kim's fist crashed into the back of his unsuspecting head.This time in a split second I grabbed hold of the bell as he slid across the field.His body turned into a log as he hopped down beside it searching the ground with his eyes."Looking for this?"I asked holding the bell up by its ribbon.He scratched his head."Alright.Masomi.You pass and Kim fails."He said pulling out a black ninja head band.I furrowed my eyebrows and dropped the bell."If she fails I fail,we're family and we don't turn our back on eachother just to get what we want."I said in a cold voice."You both pass."He said giving us a thumbs up."Don't dear try passing me just for my brother,I don't want your pity."Kim said seriously."This drill isn't to test how strong you are,its designed to test hoe far you will go for a comrade and you both just proved to me how inseparable the bond between brother and sister are."He said giving her a blue headband and me the black one."Im gonna go report this to the hokage,but first I need to tell you all about the up coming chunin selection exams.They are a month from now and I plan on entering all of you,this goes for team seven also.Its your choice to show up at the Academy a month from now at 4:00pm if you choose,so no pressure."He said then poofed away in a cloud of smoke.Kim squealed and jumped on me hugging and laughing.I looked away with an annoyed expression but on the inside I was over come with excitement."Can we celebrate?"Kim asked pouting and giving me the puppy dog eyes."I guess."I answered scratching the back of my head."Everyone go get some friends and meet up at our apartment at eight."Kim ordered letting me out the hug.Everyone nodded with a smile.She turned around to me smiling innocently."Can you please get the stuff?"She begged knowing I couldn't say no.She ruffled my hair and kissed my cheek,then walked over to Sasuke and they left."What just happened?"I asked looking at the three before me."Come on lets go shopping."Ino said grabbing my hand and leading me away."What about us?"Naruto asked looking at us leave."Come to their apartment at eight,and bring some friends."Ino said as we walked.I looked over my shoulder to see Sakura angrily pulling Naruto along with her by the ear.*Today is gonna be a long day.*I thought looking towards the market.
