Chapter10 Leaving on a good note

Masomi'sPOV

Everyone had already arrived at my place and mostly people who I didn't know.After Ino had introduced me to all the other ninja in the room I went to the kitchen to make pizza and cups of ramen for the guests.As I flipped the dough I spotted Ino standing in the door way through the corner of my eye.She didn't realise I noticed her and looked to be debating about something in her head."Are you just here to watch me work up a sweat or help.Your choice."I said turning to look at her.She chuckled in embarrasment them walked over to me."What cha makin?"She asked looking over the ingredients on the counter."Pepperoni pizza.With a side of chicken ramen,for you chopstick lovers."I said turning back the dough at hand.Ino picked up a ball of dough and stood beside me."That thing you were doing with the dough looked cool can you teach me?"She said tossing the dough ball up and down in a sad attempt at flattening it like mine.I stepped back doing handsigns."Shadow clone jutsu."I said forming six clones.They all went to different stations in the kitchen to either make pizza or ramen as I watched Ino with an amused smirk.She groaned as the dough continued to rip and tear every time she tossed it."No.No it's more like this."I said putting my arms under hers from behind and my torso against her back."You do it like this."I said soothingly guiding her hands with mine.I could hear her heart beating and feel the heat from her blush."Ino."I whispered making her tense."Is something the matter?"I asked bearly above a whisper."N-no."She said stuttering.I placed my chin on her shoulder and breathed."Do you want me to stop?"She gasped as my hands traveled down to her waist.Dropping the pizza dough she turned her head so that we could lock eyes.We both slowly leaned in for a kiss but I heard foot steps approaching the kitchen.I stepped back still looking into her eyed with pure lust then looked away."Hey guys,is the food done yet?"Naruto asked scratching the back of his head with a wide grin.At that moment the oven timer rung signaling that the pizzas were ready.

Naruto fist pumped the air."Believe it!"He exclaimed."Go back to the den,the food will be out in a second."I said making him frown sadly."But."He said and I put up a hand dismissing him.He grumbled to himself and stalked out.My shadow clones returned to the kitchen and began taking the food into the other room.I stood there and ran my hands through my hair in frustration."We shouldent keep them waiting,that's not what a good host would do."I said masking my disappointment.We went into the den and Ino took.a seat at the large dining table that we had sat before everyone arrived.The pizzas sat in the center of the table and also ramen cups.No-one had touched then yet."What took you so long!?"Kim called out above the group at the large dining table as her loud stomach growled anxiously.I smirked and sat beside Ino making her blush."Just put the movie on."I said pointing at the large plasma screen TV that sat against the opposite wall.Everyone one cheered and ran to it fighting over what movie to play.Over the crowd I could hear Kim's loud threats and see her shoving people by the face and eventualy sliding in the movie of her choice.Everyone groaned and went back to their seats.Ino turned off the lights and sat beside me with Kina on her lap."Hey Masuni."Kina greeted in her adorable voice."Hey Kina want something to eat?"I asked.She nodded and put her tiny index finger on her chin."I want cookies and cake and candies and shocolate and cupcakes and....."She tried to finish but Ms.Yorie popped a small cookie into her mouth."Ill take it from here."She said lifting Kina from Ino's arms."Enjoy the movie."I called as she walked back to her seat."Lets get some food."Ino suggested standing up and going to the food.There were plates forks and chopsticks.We both took two slices of pizza and a cup of ramen then sat back down to watch the movie.After finishing my pizza I began to struggle with my ramen."Need help?"Ino asked not wanting to disturb anyone.I nodded and she gently took my chopsticks and put some noodles in my mouth.We did this until there wasn't anymore ramen in my cup."Thankyou,"I whispered to the blushing Ino.She glimpsed at the movie and shrank back as a zombie ate a man's thumb clean off.I slid my arm around Ino's waist and pulled her small figure against my side.She rested her head on my shoulder.There was a comforting feeling that washed over me as if this was how things were suppose to be.I looked away from the movie at the guests to see Sakura giving me a longing gaze.I looked back at the movie and ignored the feeling that something wasn't right.

Two hours later

I yawned warily and peered around the room.It seemed that everyone had fallen asleep including Ino.I quickly picked her up bridal style and carried her to my bed room and lied her on the bed.She cuddled up against the blanket making herself comfortable.The way I felt about her was overwelming and I wanted her to know but how.Looking around I spotted a sheet of paper on my nightstand and grabbed it.Then I rambled through my drawer and pulled out a pen.Clearing my mind I began to write her a sorta love note.

"Ugghh."I groaned throwing the paper aside."Need some help?"An eerie voice asked from behind me.I turned around to see the scientist and his apprentice standing an the balcony with the door opened."Ill end this here."I said gritting my teeth and pulling my katana from my back.I flew at him with lightning speed and drove a punch into his face.He flew over a few houses and landed with a loud thump in the training field.I appeared standing on the lake using my chakra as the apprentice landed beside his master helping him up."So you mastered chakra control as well."The scientist commented clapping his hands together and doing a series of hand signs.Everything got quiet and the apprentice stepped back.There was a ripping sound as the scientist began peeling off his skin and laughing miniacly."Go to the base Ill handle this."The scientist said as he ripped his face and hair off looking up and revealing an entirely new body.He had tan skin and black hair that clung to his head as his nude body dripped with a clear liquid.He was also a lot younger than he was suppose to be.The professor was now a 16year old teen.The shocked apprentice dropped his cloak and bowed before running into the surrounding forest."Ah,that's better,just call me Robby."He said as his body was engulfed in green flames.The fire went out and he was dry with his short hair messily poking from his head.Putting the cloak on he stretched his muscles and smiled.I looked into his completely green eyes in disbelief."What just happened?"I shouted angrily."All that matters is that I'm taking your body next."He said in his new calm voice.I pulled out my dual magnums and aimed at him."I can still take you."I said quietly and fired.He instantly burst into flames which reformed behind me.When I realised his presence I turned around just in time to block a wave of green fire with my arms causing my skin to boil and burn off.I screamed in agony as purple lightning sparked around my arms causing them to regenerate."My turn!"I cried through clenched teeth and appeared behind him to fast for him to react.I punched him in the back of the head with all my power sending him flying towards the trees covered in lightning.In the blink of an eye I intersected his path and uppercutted him into the air.I could feel more power flowing into my body.It felt familiar.My pupils formed blue pyramids in the center and I let my body take over like all the times I did as a kid.I did a chain of complicated hand signs."Angles Inferno!"I shouted shooting a giant wave of fire from my palm into the air at Robby.He was incenerated on contact or so I thought.I looked away towards the forest to see a group of people in black cloaks with red clouds watching me.A man with spikey orange hair and piercings stood ahead of the group.Robby appeared beside him and gave me a taunting smirk."You will soon join us."Orange hair said as they all vanished.I looked at the stars and screamed,spitting a giant wave of blue fire from my mouth.Blinking I deactivated my eyes."No-one here is safe if I stay."I said quietly then walked into the forest away from the leaf."This is for the best."I said into the wind then shot away from the village as purple lightning.
