Space [Wonwoo]

"Wonwoo!" Mingyu greeted from afar, successfully grabbing the-always-spacing-out Jeon Wonwoo's attention. Wonwoo waved back and jogged to his best friend who he has been waiting for.

Walking side by side, the two goofed around as always, of course, Wonwoo was throwing his infamous lame jokes from time to time.

"Gyu, what did the sea say to the sand?" Wonwoo started, Mingyu, however, was debating whether or not to reply since he knew Wonwoo would tell another lame pun. "What?" Mingyu rolled his eyes at Wonwoo. "Nothing, it simply waved." Wonwoo grinned awkwardly after ending his joke. Mingyu couldn't hold back his laugh because it was so corny, he made vomiting actions at Wonwoo.

"Dude, this has to stop." Mingyu told him in a serious tone. There was silence. Soon, they were laughing their butts off, Wonwoo would never stop, he's really just like this - lame and cheesy.

Without even knowing how much time has passed, they soon reached their street and went to their separate homes.

The next day

As Mingyu and Wonwoo were hanging out with their other friend, Hoshi, a girl walked towards their direction. "Um, hi." She softly greeted, not making eye contact with any of them. Heh, that was cute, Wonwoo thought.

"Mingyu-ssi, the teacher wants you." She said. Mingyu then pointed to himself with a puzzled look, "Dumbass, you're the only Mingyu here. Hey, you're looking for a Kim Mingyu, right?" Hoshi spoke. The girl simply nodded in reply and Mingyu immediately rose from the grass, then told his friends smiling, "I'll be quick."

"Nah, take your time, Gyu." Hoshi blurted but Mingyu already left. "The girl's pretty cute, huh?" Hoshi commented that made Wonwoo say, "Yeah. Definitely your type." He shook his head at Hoshi's wild imagination. "I'm saying for Mingyu...or maybe you, dude." Hoshi wriggled his brows, teasing the already flustered Wonwoo. "T-tch. N-not me. I'm not into her." Hoshi just scoffed at Wonwoo's obvious lie.

Mingyu, on the other hand, was trailing behind the girl who called for him until she took a sudden halt. "Mingyu-ssi!" She voiced out, startling Mingyu. "I...I was the one who was looking for you." She confessed which had Mingyu dumbfounded. "H-huh?" He asked innocently.

"I really like you, everything about you and I just...god, this is fucking stupid." There was a hint of discouragement in her voice as she looked away from the blushing Mingyu.

"No, please continue" Mingyu told her and her eyes widened at his unexpected reply. She was honestly ready to be rejected, or maybe even ignored by Mingyu but maybe he wasn't what everybody said he was, cold-hearted and acts like a jerk, he was the opposite, warm and innocent.

Her throat went dry and she was still in a state of shock, "K-kim Mingyu, I'm just saying this because I'm leaving soon." She started fiddling with her fingers and biting her bottom lip, "Y'know, I don't want to have any regrets. That's why." She told him truthfully.

Mingyu was still flustered as he has never received a confession from someone nor has he confessed to anyone, he doesn't understand love. But at the moment, he felt like he needed to, he wanted to understand what love meant. For her at least.

"I understand. Let's go on a date." Mingyu, talking as if nothing had happened, flashed her his signature smile that she only sees from afar. Her heart was palpitating, she wasn't expecting Mingyu to say these words at all.

Still confused and shocked, she answered him, "Y-yes." She couldn't help but burst into tears.

She was going to leave soon, the date of her departure is uncertain but now, at least one thing is certain: She has confessed to Mingyu, that was one thing checked off of her "No Regrets" bucketlist.

Mingyu upon seeing the crying girl, wrapped her in his arms being the kind person he is, her small frame pressed against Mingyu's body brought warmth to her heart. She was too happy even if she knew this was only temporary.

Too much Mingyu, right? But I swear this is a Wonwoo fanfiction. I know I've showed a lot of Mingyu and the unknown girl today but soon, the story will focus on Wonwoo. Please stay and continue reading this book.
