chapter five

Khloris's POV

today was the day we step inside the arena. The day tributes became killers and victors become the ultimate killer, Enobaria has not been very talkative lately but I cn somewhat undertsand her, she has been in the blood bath before and she already knows what to come.

' Khloris' our esscort shouted "its time t get dressed for the arena! we leave in 10" she sounded excited and handed us our outfits, it was a body suit that had shoe like things at the bottom, the stylist braided my hair just like in training and then me and Enobaria were fed a light breakfast

it broke my heart to think it would be the last time i saw my sister.. but we wre going to stick together and win together. We were sent to our tubes to enter the arena, nobody was waiting for me so i gave myself a pep talk until i herd

and then i stepped in and umideitly the doors closed bringing me up to the top, the arena was a mixture of 2 things a small ocean with a cornicopia in the middle and a meadow with tall trees and beautiful grass. it was breathe taking but something so beautiful could be so destructive. I tried my best to find Enobaria but when i did she has a plastered smirk on her face as she looked my way and the cannon wen off, i jumped in the water trying my best not to drown and after a sad looking swim i made it to the cornicopia, i ran up to the flying blads and knives, i felt someone arm around my waist trying to drag me down, it was district 5 male tribute and i stated freaking out, i didnt want to be a murder but i had no choice. me or him? i stabbed him in the thigh with my knife and he fell and so did my knife before i could pull out my blade he knocked it out of my hand and got on top of me trying to choke me and he was succseding so i did the last thing i could. i bit him hand as hard and violently as i could and he screamed in pain i tried to to get up but he wouldnt stop so i did it. i ripped out his throat and  almost threw up on him. i look over and saw district 5,8,9 woman dead and there killers were Cashmere,Gloss and Enobaria. they looked so evil and when i walked over to them gloss smirked and ran out behind me making me kneel before Enobaria 

"Funny Enobaria" i laughed "now let me up"

"im not laughing are you gloss?" she asked and my breathe hitched

"you know for years i was the one training while you got it easy." she spat 

"what are you ta-" 

"shut up! i had to work so hard while you got to be mommy and daddys little princess. im so sick of having to take care of you all the time! everywhere we go they favor you, because your so pretty and im scary" she said angirly making tears run down my face

"you can cut the crying crap, those pretty big brown baby eyes may have worked on mom and dad but not on me. when i herd my name get called i intantly knew this was gonna be great," laughter was i herd from her and her new allies while i was in shock

"those eyes of yours, they stole the hearts of so many" she mocked

"your gonna see what i see now" she said evilly and gloss and chasmere held me down and i knew this was the end for me.. i squeezed my eys shut in fear of my death and little did i know that was the last thing i would ever see.

she made my eyes open wide and what i felt was the worst pain ever, she cut my eyes and blood filled them blinding my sight, i begged for help but they were gone and so was my vision.

i spent the rest of the night in that same spot crying .. i felt so weak i couldnt see anything and i never would be able to. I felt around my mouth and remebered what the people said that i could easily take the addaptted part of my teeth and i did, it was easier then trying to see and i couldnt everything was black.

2 days later

 so far i herd about 12 cannons and i wondered whos pictures were in the sky, i was starving and scared to death. all these thoughts of fear were stuck in my head until i herd a somewhat familiar voice echoing from behing me 

"KHLOR" i herd over and over again

"please dont hurt me i said with my head burried in my hands and the voice started to sound so sweet and i knew it was finnick, my heart stopped and i herd him move in front of me, i couldnt let him see me when i coulnt see his se green eyes and that tempting smile, he put his hands around m wrist tryig to move them but i woulnt budge and he kept doing that until he finally saw what had happened.. i herd gasps and moved back wondering who was with him

"dont worry we wont hurt you, but who the hell did this to you?"

"Enobaria"

i herd a rip and i felt a peice of cloth being wrapped around my head and i felt releaved they couldnt see it anymore, 

" we need to head out, ill take her to the cave, Katniss can you take care of Mags and Prim" he asked and katniss replied a yes, i felyt myself up in his arm and i was so cold, i burried my head in his chest trying to find warmth and succeding, i slowly fell asleep in his warm embrace, after a 10 minutes wlk i fet him put me down on the ground and it was colder and lonely i had no choice but to say what i needed and wanted..

"could you stay?" i beggeded and i felt him smile, i was given a memory of him smiling at me in traning and i saw myself.. in the memorie i didnt notice him but he was smiling at me

he wrapped him arms around me

"are you hungry? i see youve taken the shark teeth off" i nodded and he chuckled and got up, when he got back i tried to grab it but ended up placing my hand on his jaw by accident, i stroked his cheek with my thumb remembering his beautiful face that i had once taken for granted. 

"open your mouth" i did

i let myself go and decided to trust him, my own sister took my sight, i had no one. i need him and some part of me wants him
