All the blood drained from my face, my scalp prickled and my knees were shaking. The butterflies in my stomach have grown into elephants. Mr beautiful human.

He pulled his hand through his hair and first met eyes with Tony. Then he slowly glanced over at me. His eyes were intimidatingly beautiful, they were intense...I just wanted to ask him what his story was. He had sad eyes that pleaded for help.

He stared at me until I felt shy and shy for being shy. His jaw line was distractingly beautiful.

He shoved his hands inside the pocket of his jeans, he was wearing black jeans that hung for life on his hips and a black short sleeved T-shirt. The veins in his arms forced their way through the silence and I swallowed back my words to say anything about them.

"Good evening, Savannah." he grinned...There goes my senses!

I lost my words, my ability to comprehend a full sentence.

"Hi Gabriel" my voice was shaky and a breathless mess; what the hell, Savannah?

"So this is the friend you told me about?" He questioned Tony but hasn't broke our eye contact.

"Yes, this is her." Tony hissed...he was definitely caught in an awkward moment.

"I've met her before...actually stepped on her toes." Gabriel murmured, his eyes still on mine.

The tipsy sensation was gone, I was feeling like myself all of a sudden. How is this possible?

"He did that." I whispered my voice was a breathless mess. He grinned from ear to ear. Shit!

"I'll be right back. Savy, will you be fine?" I noddedy head at Tony. His eyes darted to Gabriel then me.

"Right back, okay?" He cupped my cheek in his hand, I nodded. "Okay, T. I'll be fine." I winked at him then watched him leave.

*******

When I eventually gathered all my senses, I was alone with Gabriel.

"Do you want to go somewhere...less peoplier?" He leaned down and whispered to me.

"Peoplier? Im not sure that's a word...I'm fine here" he leaned down and whispered in my ear

"I'm a certified kidnapper" I burst into laughter

"I'm sure you are. You got my phone number in some mysterious way." He chuckled to himself

"Social media, Savannah. Don't put your details on there."

I wanted to kick myself for even questioning him about it, I made a mental note to remove my cell number from my social media.

"Come." Before I could protest he grabbed my hand and lead the way to a side of the party that was peaceful, the music echoed in the distance. We sat down on the grass beside one another.

My phone has been going wild in my pocket; I'm sure Sierra was looking for me.

"Your hair is extremely long" he interupted my thoughts as he traced a wave hanging over my shoulder.

"Yes, my mom always said as a little girl she was obsessed with Rapunzel, so one day she wanted her own Rapunzel...So, she got two." I admit the terrible story behind my way too long hair.

He nodded and stared ahead of him as if something was weighing heavily on his mind, something was distracting him. Ignore it, Savy. You don't know him like that.

"So, what do you do? Besides never leaving the house. You're friends seem to care a lot about you, seems you're pretty special." He traced his bottom lip with his thumb, he is everything close to perfect. Where has he seen my friends?

"Well, I am a matriculant. I am trying to get through finals right now, I want to study law. It would be terrible if I had friends who doesn't care about me, wouldn't you say?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I would say, Savannah...Law, Really? You don't strike me as a liar" He chuckled as he pulled his hand through his hair. My eyes darted to his

"What is that supposed to mean? Its not lying, it's defending what is right."

"Oh, so you're the worlds number one advocate for what is right?" I couldn't understand his sudden change of attitude.

"Damn right I am. I don't have to listen to this, nice meeting you asshole." I began to stand up, he gripped my forearm and held me down. Gazing into my eyes as if I were a mystical creature.

"Don't leave, please."

"Then don't insult my inte-" he forced his lips against mine.

I shifted back and our lips parted. Who does that?

"Gabriel...what are you doing?" He scanned my face. His eyes told me what he didn't want to say. I moved closer to him.

Close enough that I felt his breathe against my face. He smelled minty and of cologne. His smell was intoxicating, his gaze was enchanting.

I saw his galaxies come alive and I wanted to get lost in them....
