"One is escaping the other is chasing"
Lilly's pov:
I was now leaning on James as I walked away from Humble and my problems concerning Yousef. But one thing was on my mind right now how did James knew that I had to get away from him right now ?.. Was there really a scan to do ?
"I already scanned my leg and nothing is broken you know "
"Oh I know that"
" Well then how did you know ?"
"How did I know what ? About the scan ?"
"No , how come you knew that I didn't want to be around them right now "
"I just can read people very well, it's part of my job"
"Okay , well then thank you I guess , but where are we going now ?"
"Out of that stupid hospital"
"Really , I don't think that's such a good idea , and don't you have work to do ?"
"Nah, don't worry about it , and it's better to get out of the hospital you'll see. Don't you trust me ?"
"Not really I just met you , but I don't have a choice do I ?"
"Well I can always get you to your friends room"
"Let's just get out of here"
James was laughing now , but I was getting worried. I did not trust him at all. I just met him and now I was following him but at the same time searching for a way to stay at the hospital . I couldn't get out of here with a total stranger, of course not. I had to find an idea and fast .
"Ouch ! Ouch my leg , please can we sit down , please help me sit down I can't OUUch !"
Ok this was working he was now rushing around me , helping me sitting down. We sat there for a few minutes and then I heard him talk.
"Do you feel better now ?"
"Errmm.. not really I think it's better if I stay here some more"
Humble's pov:
I had lost track of Lilly , but then something told me to follow the exit door , thanks to my instinct I was now a few meters away from Lilly who was sitting on the floor talking to the blond man. I couldn't play the detective anymore and had to let my presence be known
Lilly's pov:
"LILLY"
Out of nowhere someone was calling me but it didn't seem to be just one person
"LILLY ! LILLY!"
As soon as the shouts rang , I heard James mumbling
"Ah! This was not planned ! It shouldn't have happened like this"
I looked up to see who it was and was shocked when I saw Yousef AND Humble running from both different sides of the hallway, to me.
Jame's pov:
No! No! No! No! It was not supposed to go this way ! This can't happen ! I was so close to my goal ! Lilly was going to leave with me ! I can't let her go that easily , I won't let her go !
"NOOOOO!!! Stoop don't you move one more step and someone will get hurt I promise"
Standing up , I was now holding Lilly by her waist getting her close to me with, in my other hand, the one thing that I didn't want to use , my gun ...
Yousef's pov:
Everything happened so fast , JAMES was threatening us with a gun now , and Lilly was by his side completely frightened I couldn't let anything happen to her
"Please , please don't shoot ok ? What do you want ? I have money , I can give you anything but please don't harm her .."
"WHHAT! You're a joke you know that ? How will I ever harm her huh ? You're the one who hurt her feelings saying that you regretted everything !"
"I didn't say that at all , and Lilly did you hear me talk to him earlier ? I swear as soon as I said what I said I regretted it soo bad. I love you Lills confessing it to you was my best choice ever I haven't been more happier , stronger than with you you've added something to my life that I could never resent or even imagine living without you for a second ... "
"STOOP ! Don't you say anything with that stupid mouth of yours , Lilly is mine , I LOVE HER , she can't be in love with someone as stupid as you she can't because she belongs to me !"
Lilly's pov:
Hearing Yousef talk to me , all of my doubts vanished and I felt so stupid for running away but right now something else needed to be taken care of, this man was crazy and dangerous I had to do something before anyone gets hurt.
"Listen you are right James , I can't love him , I don't but please put that gun down , if you want me to leave away with you you will have to prove to me that you are not a killer . I can't be with someone violent ok?"
"How do I know that this is not a game , maybe you're lying to me ..."
"No , I'm not , why would I lie to you you've been so kind to me , I could never hurt you"
"Ok but tell your friends to not follow us !"
"They won't it's my choie and they have to respect it , now give me the gun please"
I couldn't believe it , he was listening to me and about to give out his gun, I throw a last glance at Yousef and Humble who seemed to have understood where this was going and as soon as the gun was in my hand Yousef ran at James throwing him on the ground and began hitting him in a fury .
I have never seen him so mad in my life , it was as if he lost all common sense , giving the gun at Humble I went to him to try and calm him down. As I approached them I could hear him talk
"Don't you ever try to hurt her again understand me , never again !"
Each words were punctuated by a punch
"Yousef please stop , please he is not worth it please , you're not like that stop it please !"
Yousef's pov:
I was so mad that I had forgotten everything that was around me , I couldn't stop even if I tried , but then I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and her voice resounded in my head . She was begging me to stop. Lilly was ok and she was asking me to stop. I had to she was right he was not worth it.
Letting go of the man's collar I stood up , looking down I saw him clenching his battered body and from a distant we heard people rushing towards us. Somehow someone had called for help it might have been Humble...
And now as the meds took care of James , Lilly approached me very slowly , as soon as I felt her presence I took her in my arms looking as the paramedics took him away. I gave her a kiss on her forehead as I did I felt her tears falling on my shirt and couldn't help but cry to.
No one's pov:
Both crying now , it wasn't sadness that they were feeling but relief . Sure life put some obstacles on their way but in the end they always found their way back to each others . Their love becoming stronger and stronger with each strike of destiny.
