I walk via the doors of the school, Harry following behind me.

I find my way to the nurses office and walk in to see a few kids sitting in the chairs. I walk through another door to reach the actual nurses office and see Darcy and the nurse talking.

"Darcy, hey." I say, walking over to her, feeling her forehead.

"Hey, mommy." She says, giving me a slight smile. "Hey daddy."

He smiles to her. "Hey, Darce."

"This isn't right." I mumble, watching Harry hover above me.

"I'll stop if you want me to." He says.

I feel so cold.. I want his body heat, I crave him..

And..

This is so wrong, yet so right..

Ugh.

"No. Please.. Just go." I laugh, pulling him closer to me.

He cautiously starts to kiss my neck again and my fingers find their way to his curly hair.

~*~*~*~

I walk into Darcys room, seeing her still awake, shivering.

"Darcy, you should try and get some sleep." I say, walking over and sitting on her bed.

"I can't. I'm too cold, mom." She says, pulling the blanket closer to her.

"It's not cold in here, sweetie." I say. "Hold on. I'm gonna go and get the thermometer."

I stand up, walking out and down the hall to the bathroom. I rummage via the drawers, finding the thermometer.

When I turn back around to exit, a sleepy Harry stands there.

"What are you doing?" He asks, his raspy voice clear.

"Darcy might have to go to the ER." I admit, walking by him and down to Darcys room.

"What? Why?" He asks, following me.

"I gave her cold medicine and it appears to not be working. She's in her room, bundled in blankets and her body thinks it is -5° in her room." I say, opening Darcys bedroom door.

I walk over with Harry behind me and kneel beside her bed where she still has her eyes wide open.

I stick the thermometer in her mouth and wait until it beeps.

102.8°.

Shit..

Her temperature is raising..

This isn't good.

I gave her cold medicine, her temperature shouldn't be going up, it should be going down.

"Darcy, we have to take you to the hospital." I say, taking the thermometer out of her mouth.

"I don't want to go.." She whines, gripping onto the blanket even more.

"Baby, I don't think we have any other choice." I say, pushing her hair back.

"Fine.." She groans. "I don't want to walk."

I sigh, looking back to Harry. He smiles before reading my mind, bending down to pick her up.

He picks her up bridal style and I go to Maddy's room as they head downstairs. I try not to wake her up as I pick her up and carry her down the stairs.

Thank goodness she hasn't woken up. And thank goodness she hasn't caught any bug or whatever Darce has.

One sick kid is enough, I don't need two.

I remember when Maddy was about one, all three of us had a cold and it sucked. I was too sick to take care of 2 sick kids. Especially young ones.

But it wasn't that bad, haha. We just slept most of the time.

We make our way downstairs and Harry stands at the door, probably waiting for me to tell him where the keys to my key are, since I drove the both of us here last night.

I grab my purse, walking out the door with Harry. I look to Maddy, who's still sleeping, her arms wrapped firmly around my neck. Then I look over to Darcy.

She's just shivering in Harry's arms, her arms just hanging from the sides.

As we make our way to the car, Maddy starts to wake up. She opens her eyes and looks around, spotting Harry.

"What's going on? Who's that?" She asks, trying to lift her head up.

"Darcy's sick, we have to go to the hospital." I tell her.

"Well, who's that, then?" She asks, not taking her eyes off Harry.

"One of my friends, Harry." I lie.

I can't just tell her right now..

"Oh." Is all she says as she climbs into the back with Darcy.

I go to the drivers side and Harry takes the passenger side.

As I pull out of the driveway, I hear Maddy trying to calm Darcy down. Telling her that it'll be okay and what not.

And she sounds scared. Maddy sounds scared for Darcy.

None of them have had to really go to the hospital because they were sick. Whenever all of is caught that cold a couple years back, it wasn't this bad.

Darcys body thinks it's cold! And no matter how many layers of blankets, clothes, sweaters, you throw on her, she still feels cold.

My hands grip the steering wheel as I focus to drive, but failing once tears start slipping from my eyes.

I blink them away, trying to really focus, but can't get the thought of Darcy out of my head.

This is all messed up.

Harry returning, then Darcy suddenly gets sick? I don't think it's his fault, I just feel like it's weird. Besides, I'm pretty sure Harry was beside me the whole night.

I pull up in front of the ER and Harry immediately gets out, going to the back to get Darcy.

I get out also, getting Maddy who insists on walking. I run along side Harry into the doors and Harry goes to the desk, explaining our situation.

Haha.

We had sex last night, and this is our punishment. My punishment...

We immediately get taken back and only one person is aloud back with Darcy. Figuring that Maddy doesn't know Harry, I have to stay back and Harry goes with Darcy.

We get seated in the waiting room and Darcy sits in the seat beside me, staring at the TV, which has some boring reality show on.

I glance around seeing if anybody.else is in here. Nope.

I get up, going to ask the desk of they can change it to cartoons for Maddy.
