I pull on clothes for work as Harry walks into the room, in a suit and tie.

"Hey, love." He smiles, walking over and giving me a kiss. I furrow my eyebrows as he pulls back.

What?

"Babe?" I ask, confused, while stepping back.

"Hm?" He must've thought it was a question, to get his attention.

"We aren't dating, Harry." I shake my head, looking to my feet.

"Well, duh." He chuckles and I look back up. "We're married."

My eyes flutter open as I immediately look to the right of me, seeing if anybody else is there.

No.

Not Harry, not Maddy. Not even Darcy..

I sigh, turning to look at my clock. It's Saturday, so I'm off work and the kids don't have school.

Dragging myself out of bed, I go downstairs, leaving myself in underwear and a tank top. I head to the kitchen and pull the pancake mix out of the cabinet, along with a pan.

I set out all of the ingredients on the counter and turn the TV, that's in the kitchen, on.

"Harry Styles has been seen again with his former wife, Mia once again. They were leaving a hotel last night and arrived at Lakin's last night.

"Is something up? What's going on with them? And where is little Darcy?"

I continue to watch it as I make my pancakes. I really want to make coffee, but I'm out and I really don't want to go to the store.

Actually.

I guess I do need to go to the store. Maddy needs a new jacket.

I guess we will leave after breakfast then.

When Maddy starts walking down the steps in her PJs, I switch the TV to the DVD that's in there.

They usually watch cartoons every morning, especially on weekends, as I am cooking.

The theme song for Max & Ruby cones on as Maddy takes a seat at the island, watching the cartoon. I hand her her plate of 2 pancakes before I reach up in the cabinet, grabbing the syrup.

I pour some on her plate, reaching over to one of the drawers and grabbing a fork for her also. I set the fork beside her plate and turn back around to make myself a plate.

"After you're done eating, you're going to get a bath." I tell her as I watch her spill some syrup onto her lap.

She nods as I hand her a napkin and watch her wipe it off her PJs. Now I have to do laundry too.

Today is going to be a busy day.

"Mom, when can I get a phone?" Darcy asks as she walks beside me in Walmart.

"Not until you get to high school." I say, turning down an aisle.

"What? That's so far from now!" She complains.

"Darcy, you don't need a phone." I tell her. "You're not going to go anywhere without an adult, for awhile, so just drop it."

She sighs, kind of angry at me. But I don't care. I didn't get my first phone until I was 16 and I barely even used it.

Hell, I barely use my smartphone that i have now.

I drop the bag of coffee into the cart, beside Maddy as I continue to push the buggy.

She's sitting in the cart, playing on her iPad. Her and Darcy share an iPad mini, but we usually only use it if we are going some where for an extended amount of time.

I walk towards the clothes section and go to the kids.

"Darcy, pick a new jacket out." I say and she looks up at the clothes. "Do you want me to get you out?"

She nods so I tell Darcy to hold the buggy as I pick Darcy out of the basket and place her on the floor.

A woman who has a large belly walks by me, going towards the newborn clothes and pacifiers, or whatever.

She looks to us and smiles.

"Are they yours?" She asks.

I nod. "Yeah."

"They are gorgeous young ladies." She smiles, looking to Darcy.

"Thank-you." Darcy smiles at the girl.

"How old?" She asks.

"I'm 10, and my sister, Maddy, is 5." Darcy says

"I mean, how old are you?" She looks to me.

"Oh, I'm 38." Wow, I'm old.

"Oh. You look so young." She components and I feel my cheeks get red.

"Thank-you." I say.

"I'm 23." She says. "My boyfriend is currently in the military, he comes home next week. But what about you?"

"Oh, um.. I'm divorced." I say, looking to my feet.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She apologizes. "Well, I'll let you get back to shopping. Maybe we can meet up for coffee later?"

I nod. "Yeah, definitely."

"Here's my number." She smiles, pulling a card out of her purse.

A business card.

These business cards look exactly like my business cards at work.

"Where do you work?" I ask.

"Lakin's, I believe. Something like that." She says.

"Did you just start working there?" I ask.

"Yeah, I had an interview done about a week ago and they called me yesterday and said I was hired. I just went there to clean my office out and pick up some business cards."

"Oh, my god. I work their too!" I laugh.

"Oh, my god!" She laughs. "What a coincidence."

~*~*~

"Harry, can you watch them?" I ask, holding the phone up with my shoulder as I fold laundry.

"I guess." He sighs.

"If you don't want to, it's fine-"

"It's alright, Mia. I will head over now."

"Okay, thank-you, Harry." He comes over about 25 minutes later, giving me a smile as soon as I open the door.

"When will you be back?" He asks.

"About an hour." I say.

"Well, I have an interview at 2, so." I look to the clock and it's almost one.

"Okay, then. Half hour. Forty five minutes?" I correct myself and he nods.

I walk out the door and get into my car, driving down the road to Dunkin Donuts.
