"What the hell? After all the stories you've told me, he's back in your house? I gave you those days off so you can avoid him not spend time with him!" She whispers, using hand gestures alot.

She does that when she's upset..

"Well it's not my fault! He just showed up here."

"When?"

"After I dropped you off at your house that one night, I came back and he was in my fucking driveway." I whisper

"That's when you call the cops." She chuckles histerically.

"And let him take me to court over the girls? No way! I am not losing them!" I say

"Who says he has a chance of getting them?" She says. "Just because he's famous, Mia, doesn't mean shit."

"Actually, it does." I nod. "And besides! I'm the one who was married to him for like 5byears. I think I know a few things here and there about his lawyers or whatever."

"I just.." She shakes her head, glancing to her feet. "Did anything else happen?"

"What are you talking about?" I ask, knowing what she's talking about. You have to play dumb in these kind of situations..

"Did you guys fuck or something?" She bluntly asks.

"No!" I lie.

"You're a fucking liar!" She jabs her finger at me.

"Whatever, Rachael!" I try to drop the subject.

"So you forgot your own daughter because you guys were having sex?"

"Will you keep it the fuck down?" I shout. "I don't want to explain to Maddy the birds and the bees just yet!"

"You're so fucking immature." She laughs.

"For your opinion, Darcy and I both fell asleep on the couch!" I whisper, pointing towards the living room.

"Mommy!" Maddy comes running into the foyer. "You're on TV!"

I furrow my eyebrows, following her back into the living room.

"Is this THE former Mia Styles?" The reporter asks.

A picture of Harry and I walking to my car the other day after the concert shoes up and I mentally slap myself.

"Are they back together?

"It's been 5 years since the divorce, none spoken to each other. What about Darcy and the other little one? Where are they at?"

Harry clicks the TV off and turns to me, angered.

"Can you believe this, Har-"

"I'm not mad at them." He says.

I furrow my eyebrows. "Huh?"

"Don't you have something to tell Maddy?" He asks, glancing to her.

I look back and forth between them, realizing what he wants.

"Now?" I ask, shocked.

He frantically nods and I glance around to Rachael. Darcy's not down here anymore, so I'm guessing she went upstairs.

"Um. Maddy, can you sit down?" I ask, sitting on the couch, patting the spot next to me.

She comes and sits beside me and I try to figure out how to tell a 5 year old this kind of stuff.

"So, do you know what a daddy is?" I ask her and she nods. "Okay, well. Do you know, like what they do and everything?"

"Yes, mommy." She smiles.

"Okay, so. You know how you didn't have a daddy?" She nods. "Well, Harry.. Is your.. dad."

She looks to Harry. "But I don't know him."

Harry chuckles, but I don't find it funny.

"Yeah, well. Before you were born, we got into a big fight and got a divorce." I say.

"What's a divorce?" She asks.

"Well, a divorce is where a mommy and daddy go to court and sign papers to not be married anymore. Then, they don't really talk to each other afterwards."

"Dies Darcy know?" She asks, looking to the stairs.

"Yeah, she does." I admit, watching her.

She doesn't seem to be too upset. She has no emotion in her face, well.

There's a bit of curiosity, but that's better than being upset about it for days.

"Okay." She smiles.

"You're okay with it? You don't have to call him dad, you can still call him Harry, if you'd like."

Harry looks to me, a disappointed expression on his face. He can be a fucking douchebag and sit there and pout.

I'm not dealing with his shit right now.

Darcy hasn't known him for her whole life, he seriously can not be expecting her to instantly call her daddy. Unlike Darcy.

Darcy already knew Harry and what happened. That was totally different. Harry's like a stranger to Maddy...

I look over to Rachael who's gathering her things.

"I'll see you tomorrow." She says before exiting the room.

At first, I thought that she wanted to hang out. Then I remembered. I have to go to work tomorrow..
