Chapter Thirteen.

Elizabeta and Ludwig walked up to Feliciano's house, the next day. Both of them having no clue as to what had happened the day before. Ludwig knocked on the door, but there was no answer. He sighed to himself, opening the door, thinking that the Italian was probably sleeping.

Elizabeta looked around before going straight to the kitchen. She wanted to check to see if Feliciano had eaten the soup. If he didn't he was sure to hear an earful. It wasn't because she was being rude or mean, it was because she cared about the Italian's health.

"What are you doing?" Ludwig asked the Hungarian as he followed her into the kitchen. He ran a hand through his blonde hair as he watched Elizabeta open the fridge. He rose a silent eyebrow when she frowned.

"I was checking to see if Feli ate the soup I left him yesterday. But he didn't. It hasn't been touched at all." She told Ludwig.

She then looked around the room and frowned a bit more. "This room hasn't been touched since yesterday. Nothing has been washed or dirtied." Elizabeta was suddenly growing more worried about the rusty coloured haired Italian.

"He could have just slept all day." Ludwig said. It didn't really surprise him if Feliciano were to do that. He was sure Feliciano was capable of doing so, considering he had seen just how long Feliciano was able to sleep for.

Elizabeta nodded at Ludwig's words. "I guess you're right." She said heading towards the front stairs. She wanted to go see if Ludwig's words were true.

She went to each room upstairs and was starting to become a bit frantic. Sure there was the chance he had just left the house but Feliciano always left a note. She couldn't think of one time he hadn't. In all the years she knew the little Italian.

She headed to the back stairs, deciding she would meet Ludwig half way considering he was searching the first floor. But upon nearing the stairs she couldn't help noticed the rope tied to the rail. Going over to the rail, she looked down, only noticing the stool at first. Dark thought entered her mind as she instantly hurried down to check if she was right. Even when she hoped she wasn't.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs she couldn't help but let out a sound that sounded like she may be choking. "Ludwig!" She yelled for the other as she rushed over to where the Italian hung. Ludwig hurried to where Elizabeta stood but froze as soon as his eyes landed on the Italian.

Hurrying out of the room, Ludwig went to get a knife so they could cut the Italian down. He came back and set up the stool beside where Feliciano hung. With tears in her eyes, Elizabeta moved so she could catch the Italian as soon as the rope was cut. She couldn't believe this was happening.

Ludwig cut through the rope and the Italian fell. Elizabeta was right there to catch him when he fell. She sank to the floor with him in her lap and quickly moved to remove the rope that was still around his neck. She couldn't help but gasp when she saw the bright red of his skin where the rope used to be.

When Feliciano didn't start breathing right away Ludwig knelt down and felt for a pulse. It was still there. Feliciano was still alive. The only reason he was still alive was because of the fact he was a country.

"He's still alive, just not breathing." Ludwig said and Elizabeta nodded. "We need to get him to a hospital."

Elizabeta and Ludwig sat in the waiting room. They were waiting for the doctor to come back and tell them how Feliciano was doing. They weren't aloud in the room, not until after they did a few tests on the Italian. What for, they didn't know.

"Umm, who is here Feliciano Vargas?" A doctor asked before spotting Elizabeta and Ludwig when their gazes snapped up to look at him. He motioned them over so he could speak to them privately. Elizabeta and Ludwig both got up and went over to him.

"How is he?" Elizabeta asked. She couldn't take it. She needed to know how Feliciano was.

"Well, he's breathing again, but we had to give him a breathing tube because his windpipe was crushed." The doctor said and shifted slightly. "Also when we were doing our tests, we found out something you both should know."

"What is it?" Ludwig asked raising an eyebrow. Was something else wrong with Feliciano? And if so, what?

"Feliciano, he's carrying a child. And has been for three weeks now."
