Epilogue

Little Alesa sat in my lap, playing with the teddybear she had in her hands. Her dark brown hair the same colour as Lovino's. Her eyes matched mine and her curl matched Lovino's. She was absolutely adorable and there was no way anyone could deny that.

Egypt was sitting across the table from me. I had gotten into the habit of talking to him more. After all he was the main reason I got Lovino back. If it weren't for him, I would have never of had the chance.

"You went through all that. Wow." Gupta said. I had just told the whole story of what had happened. But he was the only one I considered to tell. Besides Lovi.

I don't know why I refused to tell anyone else. It just seemed like a good idea. We didn't need people bringing back countries every time they dissolved. Gupta understood that as well as Lovino.

"Sí. But it's all over now." I said as Alesa squealed slightly. She put the teddybear on the table before playing with my fingers. Also playing with the wedding ring on my finger.

Lovino had proposed two weeks ago. It was sweet how he did it. The whole time he had been a blushing mess. I knew Lovino wasn't good at that type of thing and I had been a bit surprised he had actually done it.

Alesa was over at Elizabeta's for the day. She insisted she take Alesa off our hands at least for the day. We needed a break. And I was honestly thankful for it.

I had just come back from shopping, since we had needed more baby food and everything. I walked in the front door but paused when I saw the rose petals on the floor. Putting the bags on the floor, I followed the path. I had no idea where it lead until it ended in the kitchen.

"Lovi?" I asked seeing a nice candle light set up at the kitchen table. Pasta on the two plates of course. A bottle of red wine with two wine glasses as well.

"Ciao fratello." Lovino said and I could tell he felt a bit awkward. He was never used to this type of thing. And I was surprised he had even set it up.

"What is all of this?" I asked a bit in awe. I looked up at him as he walked over. I could see the blush on his face as he neared.

"I, uh, wanted to do something special for you..." Lovino said. I smiled at him and hugged him.

"It's wonderful." I told him. He then lead me over to the table and pulled out my chair for me. Not many people got to see this side of Lovi. Not even I saw it all that much.

We talked for a couple hours after that. The pasta eaten, some wine had been drunk. Lovino actually smiled quite a bit of the time. Even if it was only a small smile.

He turned on some slow music and we had danced together. The moment was perfect. Just spending time like this with Lovi. Anytime with Lovino I loved. But this, this seemed just magical.

After the second song stopped, Lovino paused a moment. He pulled away the slightest bit as he reached into his pocket. I was completely and utterly flabbergasted when he pulled out a small box. He got down on one knee and I gasped.

He looked at me, a bright blush covering his features as he opened the box to show a ring. "I know most people might frown upon this, but screw those bastards. I don't give two shits as to what they think. All I know is that I want you to be officially mine, Feli. You have showed me more love than anyone. So I want to return that love, even with how much I might not show it. So I ask this question; will you marry me fratello?"

I had a big wide smile on my face. Tears streaming down my face. I was so happy I couldn't seem to form words. I nodded franticly and Lovino stood. I hugged him tightly and he hugged me just as tight.

"You have a point there." Gupta said, bringing me back to the current time. I smiled at him with a closed eyed smile. "Or lets at least hope it's over."

"What do you mean?" I asked Gupta. Why wouldn't this all be over? Lovino was back. That should be the end.

"Well we don't actually know if it's the end. You're the first to do a lot of things Feliciano. You were the first to bring back a dissolved nation. Not to mention the first nation to bare a child as well." Gupta told me.

"Sí, but it doesn't mean something bad is going to come out of it." I said. I really hoped nothing bad came out of those two things. But of course with every good there was a bad.

"Just be careful, alright?" Gupta said. I knew what he was talking about. People could try and take over the land Alesa represented. And there was the possibility I could be bombarded with questions of how I brought Lovino back.

"Alright." I told the other with a nod. That's when Lovino came into the room. I looked up at him and smiled. Gupta then stood, saying he had to get going.

"Take good care of those two." Gupta said to Lovino. Lovino looked a bit taken aback. Like was Egypt really expecting him to do anything else? But he made no smart remark.

All he said was a simple; "I will." I'll tell you now, Lovino has never broken his word.
