Cuddles and Kisses

I snuggled into him, with my head on his heart, and just focused on not forgetting how to breathe.
And maybe a little hoping B didn't come here and see us like this.
But, yet, she did.
I had my eyes closed, and I'm pretty sure so did he. (An assumption based on the surprised look on his face when she greeted us with a hello) He said hi and he jumped. He didn't stop hugging me right away, though.
He hugged me for a second or two, and then stopped. I let go as well, and he just giggled.
"Having fun?" B said with a smirk.
"Uhm... Yeah..." He nudged a little towards me, as if telling her to go away.
I said it was fine for her to stay. Which it was, I mean, he took me out here to do that. Now it's done, and we're okay.
She grinned, and walked out. Or, back in I should say, we are outside.
We both walked out together, and he whispered just loudly enough that I can hear him and said, "I would hold your hand right now, but I have crutches, so...."
We both giggled and chuckled for a minute or two until he brought me to the elevator, just in silence.
He walked me back up to my room, stood by my door, grabbed my hand, and whispered,
"Goodnight. I love you." Kissed me on the forehead, smiled, and opened the door to my room, so I could get my oxygen tank in. I could tell it was hard for him to hold it open, but I couldn't exactly take it at that moment.
He smiled as he closed the door.
He waved goodbye and closed the door, as I skipped across my room with a smile.
I don't think I've ever been this happy.
