We were in the room, and Rachel started humming.
"What are you singing?" I asked her, curious.
She said it was something she wrote.
She loves music and loves writing.
She started singing it, not so quietly. Not so much of a "hum." It started with..
"I will love you,
Forever.
I'll care for you,
Forever."
It was a gorgeous melody.
Rachel has sang it to me so many times, that I actually know the words, and started harmonizing with her.
She started telling a really cute, and funny story, about when she was in the emergency room, and she sang it so often, that the nurse used to sing it with her.
The nurse is named Belle, and she loves music.
When I was first coming to this hospital, she used to come into the room, and sing me to sleep, so I wouldn't be tired the next morning.
She's so sweet.
She always checks on me and Rachel, every day and night several times to make sure we're okay.
Sometimes she would kiss us, and try not to wake us up.
Sometimes me and Rachel would pretend to be asleep, and when she bent down to kiss us, we would wake up and kiss her on the lips.
We all used to giggle at that all the time.
Belle always used to die laughing and then she would tell us she loved us, and wouldn't leave until we said it too.
