NYH

We were standing right outside, and my nerves seemed to rise. My head hurt even just looking at the room.
The room was big and a bright white everywhere. There was a small desk with several computers and machines, and I sat down while my "family" told the receptionist who we were here to see and why.
We were here to see Dr. Connors. He was supposed to be a little-kid doctor, who specializes in injuries and serious treatments. He could help with my lungs, like chemo, but there's not really anything we can do about the heart condition.
He came out, and he was holding a white robe. He introduced himself, and we introduced all of us.
He took us all to my room, and gave us a small tour around the NYH (New York hospital) and took me somewhere, handed me the robe, and told me to put it on.
The next step was running a few tests, so he took me to the examining room, where he ran several.
He ran quite a few x-rays, just to see if I had any bones missing, broken, or anything like that.
He walked me back to my room, where I saw a small stuffed animal, set up at the head of the hospital bed, and on the desk, was a small bouquet of flowers, set in a miniature vase.
All around the bed, were several machines with chords tangled around the bed.
Dr. Connor said that a few of the machines are ones that I'll have to be hooked up to.
I'll still have to be with my oxygen tank, but there's several others that measure the pace of my heart.
Another one is a feeding tube, because my "roommate" can't process food correctly apparently.
