Carmella stares at me shocked, "Really?"

"Yes." I said, avoiding eye contact.

"What's bad about it?"

"I'd rather him and I be nothing, than him hurt me."

That's true, I don't let a lot of people into my life. I've lost potential friends. In my mind, I think sometimes you need to leave someone before they leave you. Hurt them before they can hurt you.

She shakes her head, "He won't."

"How do you know?"

"Finn's not like that."

"Neither was Aaron."

I get up and walk to the kitchen. Leaning against the fridge, I drink a glass of water. I'm drinking the water so fast, trying to ease my nerves.

Someone knocks on the door and Carmella opens it.

Finn's standing there and I act like I didn't see him. I wish I didn't.

"Why are you here?" She whispered harshly looking at me to see if I was looking.

I smile and wave at her as her attention goes back on Finn. She looks angry and if I was Finn, I'd be scared of her.

"You need to leave." She says.

"Please I need to talk to her."

"Finn..."

"Please."

She sighs, "Bayley. The door's for you."

I walk over to it and he smiles at me. His smile fades when he sees that I'm upset.

"I'm sorry." He says quickly.

"It's whatever."

"It's not whatever. I never wanted to hurt you."

"You didn't."

"I didn't?"

I shake my head, "I'm just upset."

"Why?"

"That's what I can't tell you."

"You can tell me anything."

I look down, "Finn... I know that I'm falling for you."

He smiles. He thinks it's a good things, but it's not.

I sigh, "I don't want you to be like Aaron."

"I won't be."

"Convince me."
