Chapter Nineteen

Finn held my hand and put his hand on my cheek, "Bayley."

"Finn, I can't."

"Please just give me a chance."

"I opened my heart once, it showed me never to do it again."

"I won't hurt you."

I wanna trust you, I wanna believe you. But I can't."

He stared at me sadly, "Please Bayley."

"I can't."

He cupped my cheeks and leaned in.

"Finn."

He got closer and kissed me.

"You have to stop kissing me."

He smiles, "I can't."

Finn places me arms around his neck and puts his arms around my waist.

He kisses me again and I don't do anything, I just stand there.

"What did I say about the kisses Bálor?"

"You didn't stop me."

I laugh and hit his arm, "Well you should stop yourself."

"I can't."

Whenever he kisses me, I get overwhelmed with emotions. I feel so happy and scared. Happy that he cares. Scared that this won't work out.

I get up and realize Carmella has been watching us.

"You should go." I mumble and he gets up.

"I'll see you later."

He leaves and shuts the door.

Carmella smirks at me, "I always knew you two would have a thing together."

I shake my head, "We don't have a thing together."

Carmella put her arm around me.

"Well... I ship you and him."

"Just shut up."

She stays quiet and I feel as though I hurt her feelings. I'm looking at her and she sighs.

"I'm sorry." I mumble quietly.

She shrugs and I can tell I upset her.

"I'm gonna go for a walk."

I'm only going for a walk because I know I hurt her feelings.

I walk outside and it's pretty dark out. I hear people talking and I lean against the wall.

"Finn..." I hear Becky say.

I'm holding my breath and being as silent as I can.

"Becky, leave me alone." He says.

They walk into the light and I can see both of them clearly.

"Why did you break up with me?" She asks.

"Becky, we were never together." He crosses his arms.

"Is it because of Bayley?"

He stays quiet.

"It is, isn't it?"

He nods and she looks hurt.

"Well Finn...  give me one last time to change your mind."

Becky walks over to him and kisses him. He stays still for a minute before kissing her back.

I watch until I can't handle the pain.

I'm so stupid for ever talking to him.

I'm so stupid for falling for him.
