Chapter 4- Sai

WARNING: MAJOR TIME SKIP

It had been 10 years since that day and a lot of things had happened. [y/n] made enemies with Sasuke's fangirls and a rival out of Sasuke himself. Became best friends with a shy girl named Hinata (who also had a crush on an oblivious Naruto).

She also had progressed with her training, become perfect in accuracy and her speed was great for her age. Taijutsu was her strong point and did quite well, even though she couldn't beat her Sensei and guardian who goes by the name of Kakashi yet.

First school and Middle school had come and gone, She was a bright student, one of the best in the class.

Everything was progressing, slowly, but progressing nonetheless.

The said girl was currently in English. This was one of her favourite subjects. Yeah, she enjoyed the learning itself, but that was only possible because of the teacher. Mrs. Sutton was a wonderful and bubbly teacher, everyone could agree on that. She was kind and laid back but also had a knack for getting the students to do the work. The mood was always great in her lessons and that would always motivate the students. She would often talk animatedly to the class about things that weren't even work related, but that's what made her lessons different, that's what made her lessons special.

Overall she was a joy to be around and most would consider her more of a friend than a teacher.

"Hey Hinata, I heard that there is a new student that joined yesterday. I never got to see him, have you?" [y/n] turned to her left to confront her shy best friend.

"N-No, but I-Ino has. I think his N-Name is S-Sai." Hinata replied shyly.

"Sai, huh? Interesting name." Hinata nodded in agreement.

"I h-heard her say that s-she thought he was c-cute." Hinata mumbled.

"NO WAY! SHE LIKES HIM?" She yelled unaware of the weird looks she was getting.

"I THOUGHT SHE LIKED SASUKE!"

"Who? Who likes who?" Mrs. Sutton came out of nowhere, eager to know the gossip. She leaned in with an evil glint in her eyes. [y/n] sweat dropped.

"Uh, Ino and the new kid, Sai" She replied.

"Ooooh" She leaned back, a sly smirk forming on her lips. She walked away, giggling like a school girl.

"[y-y/n], are you s-sure that was a g-good idea?" Hinata asked nervously. [y/n] glanced at Mrs. Sutton. Her arms were folded and her eyebrows were furrowed as if she was thinking very hard. This continued for a few seconds before her straight face became a huge smirk.

"Eh? She's screwed." [y/n] shrugged as if it was no big deal.

Lunch came by quickly and [y/n] and Hinata rushed up to the roof tops to meet up with the gang.

When they got there, they discovered that they were early and the only ones there were Naruto and Sasuke.

"Hey there, Naruto!" [y/n] greeted happily, to which Naruto replied. She glanced to the side at Hinata, completely ignoring Sasuke. The poor girl was frozen on the spot, a rosy blush bursting from her otherwise pale cheeks.

[y/n]nudged her as if urging her to say something. Naruto however beat her to it.

"Hi Hinata-Chan!" the blond chirped enthusiastically. Hinata, if possible blushed harder.

"H-hi, N-naruto." Naruto turned to his companion, oblivious to Hinata's feelings.

"Hey Teme!" Naruto yelled, referring to Sasuke.

"Where's the rest of 'em?" Sasuke just glared at him, not acknowledging the two of us.

"Hn, stop calling me that Baka." Sasuke replied in a monotone voice.

"How am I supposed to know anyway?"

" Surely, you should know where your biggest fangirls are." [y/n] mocked. Sasuke scoffed at her.

"They stalk me, not the other way around" He said, crossing his arms like the arrogant Duckbutt he is.

...

The rest of the group finally made it, however there was someone still missing.

"Hey Shika, where's Ino?" [y/n] questioned. Shikamaru just lay there 'napping'. He slowly peeled one eye open and scanned the roof for the blond haired girl.

"Dunno, she told me that she had something to do and she would be here soon." He replied and went back to his chilling.

A few minutes later Ino appeared.

"Hey guys, I have someone to introduce!" Ino exclaimed.

We all looked In her direction and saw a boy with pale skin, black hair and obsidian eyes.

"Hi, My name is sai" The boy spoke, adding a fake smile with the introduction.

Mrs. Sutton is actually my English teacher. I've only known her for a year but she was the one teacher I actually bonded with. I found out earlier this year that she is leaving! :(
