Chapter 10 - A Talk with Kakashi

Note: The next few chapters are just going to be about some of the stuff you did while living with Sasuke.

Its already been a week since you've been living with Sasuke and to your surprise it hasn't been as boring as you had imagined. Yes, the first few days were awkward and you felt slightly uncomfortable staying with Sasuke while there was no one else around, but despite this, you had been getting more and more accustomed to Sasuke's personality, and you could no longer say that you hated him.

At first Sasuke did not talk much to you and was distant, but he was getting used to being around you and was willing to at least speak to you comfortably, he usually minded his own business though. The only time you actually properly spoke to him was at meal times, where you would sit together and talk briefly. He never really had much to say though, and instead he would patiently listen to what you had to say and "Hn" every now and then to show that he was listening.

[y/n]'s P.O.V

You were currently sitting at the dining table eating the delicious lunch that Sasuke had prepared for you both.

It was four days ago when Sasuke revealed that he could cook, my initial reaction was surprise. I never even imagined that Duckbutt could cook, but after some thought I had realised that he kind of needed to know how, after all, he did live alone so he would have to be independent to survive. Sasuke's cooking is really good.

After the revelation, I had suggested that we took turns preparing meals and he agreed. It meant that I cooked breakfast, Sasuke cooked lunch and then we both cooked dinner. I though that he would be much more reluctant to do as I say, but surprisingly, he has never said no or disagreed with anything I have asked of him, which makes my life so much easier as I don't have to worry about him saying no.

I was broken out of my thoughts as I heard the doorbell ring, Sasuke and I both looked at eachother, questioning who it might be.

"I'll get it" I finally said, standing up and walking curiously to the door. I unlocked the door and swung it open.

"Good Afternoon, [y/n] ! Its nice to see you after so long, may I come in?" Kakashi said, hugging me tightly, I hugged back eagerly.

"Hn, you literally saw her two days ago..." Me and Kakashi simultaneously turned around to look at Sasuke. He was standing there with a bored expression on his face, waiting for Kakashi to state the reason for his appearance.

"Aah, yes. I came here for two reasons."

"Go on"

"One. I wanted to check up on this little angel over here" He said, pointing towards me with a big sincere smile on his face. I blushed in embarrassment and hugged him tightly. Sasuke 'Hn'ed again.

"And second. I need to talk to you Sasuke ... privately" 

Sasuke's P.O.V

Me and Kakashi left [y/n] in the hallway as we went to the guest room to talk privately, I'm curious as to what Kakashi wants to talk about.

"Now that we're alone, I just want to warn you about something" He stated very seriously.

"What is it" I question seriously, I don't know what this is about but it must be important because Kakashi seems very serious.

"I just wanted to warn you of what were to happen if you did anything to hurt my [y/n]", he said threateningly.

"What! Is that it?"

"What do you mean, is that it? I'm being very serious here Sasuke Uchiha, if you do anything to hurt [y/n] in any way, i'll kill you!!" He said dangerously, I actually feel scared right now.

"Why are you being so overprotective of her?", was my confused response.

"Why? Because I care about her a lot, I've been living with her for years now and the fact that she isn't with me at home kind of scares me. I don't trust other boys around her, especially when I don't know whether she's safe or not, I mean you could do anything to her right now!", he explained. I felt kind of bad for him, I guess he sees [y/n] as his daughter and just wants to be a good fatherly figure towards her. She is really lucky to have someone who is willing to do anything for her.

"I promise that I won't hurt her in any way, i'm not like that", I reply.

"Thank you Sasuke. Could you do me a favour?" He asks pleadingly.

"What is it?", I ask curiously.

"For the amount of time that this project lasts, will you please protect her and make sure she's safe, I know she is strong and independent anyway but it will put my mind at easy knowing that you are making sure she's ok" There was a small silence.

"Yeah, i'll protect her"

"You're a good person you know, Sasuke. I'm sure that you two could be great friends."

Boring chapter I know, hopefully the next will be better
