I woke up to birds chirping and cool air. I must have left the window open in my room again.
I sighed and turned onto my side, but felt my body slipping. My eyes flew open and I realized that I wasn't in my room, I was on a roof in the middle of the jungle. Not only that, but I was falling.
"Shi-" I wasn't able to get out the full word. The side of my body hit dirt roughly, and the pain screamed at me to make it stop.
I turned onto my back, grunting, and looked at the left side of my body. It didn't look like anything had happened to it; maybe I just felt really bad pain and that was that. No cuts or broken bones, yet when I rubbed the spot with my hand, there was pain again.
"Good morning," I heard a familiar accent.
The pain in my body quickly change into anger. I looked above me to see Vass leaning over me, smirking. I channeled all of my fury to this one guy.
"Thanks, Sherlock, you didn't wake me up. Now I won't walk for weeks, and it's all your fault. I hope you feel good about yourself, I mean, you kill your own people in cold blood every day."
"What do you think I am, a good person?" He pulled away and put his back to me. "I don't star gaze,"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
He shrugged. "Hell if I know."
I muttered some rather rude comments about him, hoping he heard.
"You want help?" He asked as I struggled to even get up from my laying position.
"Yes, please," I responded, looking at him thankfully.
"I wasn't serious," He chuckled. He walked away while I got myself up. "Dick," I said, thinking he was a far enough distance to not hear me.
"Dick!" He responded in a girly voice. I crossed my arms and looked away, back at the house with the roof I had fallen off of. That didn't sound like me at all.
I was only looking at the door of the building at first, but then I raised my eyes to the sign.
TRASHY SLUTS
I stared at it for a moment, then at the roof.
I had slept on that roof, and Vaas knew it, too.
Dick.
"Myma," I heard behind me. I turned around to see a bundle of something in the hands of a man advancing towards me. It was a solider, probably Vass's second or third best. I wonder if there's ranks like that? Maybe everyone's the same, and Vass is the only one that's different.
"Myma, Vass said to wash yourself and wear this."
He handed me dark green capris and a white tee-shirt. I eyes the clothing for a second, then raised the shirt up and saw a bra underneath it. Wow. Vaas tried to be sneaky, huh?
I looked up nodding at the soldier. Then his cheeks grew red as he said, "He also said watch yourself."
I opened my mouth, planning on saying something, but decided not to. The soldier turned around and walked down the trail back to the camp.
I think I saw a bathing building, or room, or whatever you want to call it, at the end of the base. I started heading that way and saw it. There was a lit-up logo that showed a hot tub. Speaking of hot, I bet the water is freezing.
After flipping the sign from OPEN to IN USE, I opened the door and closed it, turning around. I located random assortments of bottles, some filled and some cut in half to get the last drops. I wonder where they get all of these things?
