"You really think that this would work?"

"Why wouldn't it?," Damon smirks at me.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because you aren't one of the brightest people out there?"

He rolls his eyes, "Don't think so lowly of me."

I scoff and open my mouth to say something, but Damon shoots me a glare and I immediately close my mouth.

I take a deep breathe and turn on my heel towards the direction of The Silver Gate.

As I approach the building, I open the door and the new waitress, that is a sophomore who has taken my weekend hours, takes a menu and approaches me. I shake my head and tell her I'm meeting up with someone. I look around the diner and motion to the person. She nods her head and excuses herself to attend to a elderly man that walks in. I nod my head and began walking towards the table of whom I am meeting. Julian. Well, at least he didn't know exactly that it was me he was meeting with. Damon and I may or may not have hacked into his phone and interpreted a calendar meeting date of his. Apparently, Damon had learned a few things from being close with Alex, seeing as how he knew how to hack into Julian's phone by a few simple tricks he did. I barely could understand how he did it, but nevertheless, he did and that's how I am here.

I had confided to Damon about the incident that I witnessed at the school, in the hallway, because I felt guilty that Damon didn't know. I was not going to tell him, but it began to gnaw away at me, the following week at school and I passed by Julian in the hallways, or walked by his desk in classes. Damon obviously reacted, like I predicted he would, hence resulting in the present.

Damon came up with the idea that after we hack into his phone, we intrude on his plans, and I distract him, as I try to gain access to any information that I can.

I gulp and I wipe my sweaty palms on my jeans, stupid nerves of mine. I take a deep breathe and I walk to the booth table he is sitting at. He must not hear me or something, because his attention is solely on his phone. I slide into the booth seat across from him. That's when he looks up from his phone at me.

I cross my arms atop of the table and smile politely at him. Try to forget that he is a jerk, and only tried to date you because Alex paid him to, Leilah. Julian furrows his eyebrows and glances around the diner before looking directly back at me, "What are you doing here?"

"You were expecting someone else, correct?"

Julian looks me up and down, and I can't help but to be self concious, because when people do that to you, it is really quite uncomfortable.

"Yes, I was."

"Briar, right? Or was it Audra? Darn, I can't remember which since apparently, you go back and forth between them," I smirk victoriously at him.

Anger flashes across his eyes, "What do you want?"

"You to talk. I know you and Alex were working together," I pause and stretch a hand towards his arm and flirtaciously rub my hand up and down his harm, "tried to date me and for what?" I pull my arm back and crossed my arms ontop of the table again, "I don't know that yet, but I will."

Julian cocks his eyebrow and smirks evilly, "How do you reckon that you will?"

I lift my jacket up and flip it to my side where it shows him the inside pocket. I slide my phone partially out, "I think Briar and Audra would be really interested to know about how you are dating the both of them, wouldn't they?" I raise my eyebrows and smile sweetly at him, and release my jacket back to my side.

Julian glares at me, "I'm not telling you anything."

I begin to stand up and lift myself up from the booth, and send him a grin, "I'll see you on Monday, then." I take my phone from the inside of my jacket pocket and stand up from the booth. I turn and begin walking away, when I get tugged backwards and sent flying back down to the booth seat. I grasp my phone as I plump down and Julian continues to glare at me, he takes a once-over around the diner and says, "Fine, what exactly do you want to know?"
