Chapter 10: In-N-Out

Connor's POV

"Dude, you can't just walk into a bathroom without knocking." I yelled at Ricky. 

"I'm sorry man. I just smelled breakfast so I figured you were in the kitchen, and I knew where Jc was, so I didn't think to knock." he said sheepishly.

I sighed. After Ricky told me that he accidentally walked in on Olivia. I got super upset. I don't even know why. 

"It's alright. But you have to apologize to Olivia later and swear to always knock on the bathroom door before you enter."

"I swear to always knock on the bathroom door before I enter!" he said holding up his right hand. 

"Good." I said as I got up.

"Connor, do you like Olivia?"

I stopped walking. Do I?

"Why do you ask?" I said, turning around. 

"Dude, it's so obvious. You're over protective of her, you make her breakfast, give her your sweatshirts, and I see the way you look at her."

"Okay. I'll admit it. I really like her. She's gorgeous, super funny, and we have so much in common." I said laying down on the bed. 

"I knew it!" Madison yelled barging in, with Jc behind her. 

"You guys were eavesdropping?" I said, sitting up.

"Of course we were! I had to find out if you liked Olivia!" Madison said as she sat down on the floor. 

"Like Ricky said, it's so obvious that you like her! You gotta tell her!" Jc said.

"Guys, what if she doesn't like me like that. I don't want to be embarrassed." I sighed. 

"I can talk to her about that tonight!" Madison smiled. 

"Alright. If she does like me, you gotta tell me." I begged. 

"Sure thing!" Madison said as she and Jc left the room.

(OLIVIA's POV)

"Done!" I said as I put down my mascara. I had just finished doing my hair and makeup. I put on a full face of makeup because I had to cover up my terrible acne and undereye circles. I had my hair naturally wavy. I stepped out of the bathroom and into the hallway. I noticed there were a lot of boxes labeled "KIAN'S STUFF" and "RICKY'S STUFF" were crowded at the end of the hallway. 

"Hey guys!" I said when I saw everyone in the living room. Jc had his arm around Madi. I guess they moved pretty quickly. 

A mumble of greetings came from everyone. 

"So I was just wondering you guys, did you just move in recently? I saw a bunch of boxes labeled out in the hallway." I asked. 

"Well, we moved in about 2 months ago, but we're actually moving again. This time into a house!" Ricky chirped. 

"That's awesome!" I replied as I sat down next to Connor. "So what are you all just sitting her for?"

"Oh well we were waiting for you beause we were gonna go out and get some lunch." Jc piped. 

"Alright, let's go! I'm starving!" I cheered. 

We all filed outside and got into Ricky's car. Ricky and Connor were upfront, and Madi, Jc, and I were in the back. Jc and Madi were snuggling, so I felt extremely awkward. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. 

Connor F. :) :Do they need to cuddle all the time? lol :P

I laughed then texted back. 

Me: Let them be! Madison has never had a boyfriend, so I'm happy that she's found someone! 

Connor F :) : Well I'm glad she found someone! Oh by the way we're meeting Kian and his girlfriend Andrea at the restaurant :)x

Me: Alright that's good! I hope she likes me :P You do realize we could be actually talking! you're right in front of me :P

Connor F :) : True...i like this because not everyone can hear us :P

Me: True! But it's not like we're talking about anything secretive :P

"WE'RE HERE YOU QUIET PEOPLE!" Ricky yells as he stops the car. We end up at an In-N-Out Burger.

"Hey, Kian's here!" Jc says, pointing to a car across the parking lot. 

We walk in to the restaurant and I see Kian with a very pretty girl. I'm guessing it's Andrea.

"Hey,"I whisper to Connor "Is that Andrea with Kian?"

"Yeah it is." he whispers back. The whisper gives me goose bumps. 

We order our food and go sit down with Kian. 

"Hey guys!" he says we when sit down "Andrea this is Olivia and Madison he says pointing to each of us." 

Madison smiles and waves at her.

"It's nice to meet you!" I say. 

"Hi." Andrea says coldly. (A.N. I love Andrea so much! I just wanted to make her character mean :P )

Ouch. Guess she doesn't like me. We all sit in silence as we devour our meal. 

"Kian let's go." Andrea said standing up. 

"I told you that we were going to go shopping after lunch with everyone else." Kian said.

"Well I don't want to any more okay?" she snapped back.

"I want to go shopping with them so I'm going to!" he yelled. 

"Guys can you settle this in the car? We're in public!" Jc whispered. 

"Fine. Get to the car right now Kian." Andrea hissed. 

She grabbed her bag and stomped out of the restaurant. Kian got up nervously and slowly followed. 

"Good luck out there Ki." Connor shouted after him. 

Kian gave him a nervous smile and a thumbs up as he walked out the door. 

"What's her problem?" I asked.

"She's usually like that. She's always pissed off about something." Connor said, talking a sip of his drink. 

"She bothers me so much. I don't understand why he doesn't just break up with her!" Ricky exclaimed. 

"I don't know either man. She's such a  b-" Jc got cut off by the sound of loud ringtone. It was Madison's. 

"I gotta take this." Madison said as she charged outside. 

Minutes later she stormed back in. 

"You guys gotta take me back to my dorm." Madison sighed. 

"Why?" Jc asked.

"My friend called and reminded me that I'm supposed to be working on a project for class with him." Madison said, with a bit of annoyance in her voice. 

"Him?" Jc asked, raising an eyebrow.

"My best guy friend. Don't worry, he doesn't exactly swing the same way you do." She laughed. 

"Oh okay. Phew. We can take you back now." Jc said as he got up.

We all filed out of the restaurant and got into the car. This time Jc was up front with Ricky. I sat in the back in between Madison and Connor. 

"Oh my gosh I love this song! Turn it up!" Jc shouted. 

Ricky reached over and turned up the radio. Me and This Girl by IM5(A.N. If you don't know who IM5 is, look them up right now!) 

I yawned slightly. I was extremely tired. 

"Are you tired?" Connor whispered. 

"Yeah. Just a bit." I chuckled. 

"You can rest your head on my shoulder. I mean o-only if you want." He stuttered. 

I hesitated momentarily before resting my head on his shoulder. I adjusted my body to make it the most comfortable position. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
