“I felt so over-dressed today in class.” I complained as Madison and I drove to Starbucks. “Everyone was all in sweats and we are so fancy.”

“I’m sure you’ll be happier  when the cute guys notice us.” She laughed.

We pulled up to Starbucks and noticed the guys we’ve been talking about sitting by the window. The one I thought was the most attractive, looked up at me. He had the most gorgeous green eyes, and blondish brown hair. He winked at me as I walked in the door.

“Holy crap Olivia, he freaking winked at you.” Madison whispered as we walked up to the counter.

“I know! Now shut up in case he hears us.” I whispered before ordering my tall Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino.  Madison and I walked over to a table behind the boys. Madi and I talked for a little while, as we sat and drank our Starbucks. We sat in hope that at least one of the guys would talk to us, but after 10 minutes, none of them did.

My frappucino was almost gone, and Madi’s latte was empty. We decided we should get up and go. We both were so disappointed. A cute outfit was wasted. As we were almost to the door, I heard someone yell,

“Hey, girl in the pink!” I turned around to see the cute green eyed boy standing close behind me.

“Hey, I just wanted to say that you’re really pretty.” He said shyly, and he grabbed his neck and looked down.

“Thanks! My name’s Olivia by the way.”

“My name’s Connor, and these are my buddies Jc, Ricky, and Kian.” He said as he pointed to the boys behind him. They smiled and waved.

“Nice to meet you Connor! And this is my friend Madison.” I pointed to Madison behind me who awkwardly waved. One of Connor’s friends, Jc I think, walked over and started talking to Madi.

“So do you go to school here in LA?” Connor asked.

“Yeah I do! I go to UCLA, and so does Madison. We’re roommates. What about you?”

“Well actually I don’t go to school here. I got to college out in Minnesota, but I’m taking a break for a while to live here in LA with my friends.”

Connor and I eventually sat down at a table outside and talked for another 15 minutes. Eventually his friends said they were going home, and if he didn’t go with them, he’d have to walk.

“Olivia, it’s been great talking to you! Maybe we could hang out some more?” Connor asked shyly.

“Yeah of course! Here, put your number in my phone.” I said as I handed him my white iPhone, and he handed me his phone to put my number in.

“I’ll text you later okay?” Connor said as he walked to his car.

“Alright! Nice meeting you!”  I said as I waved goodbye.

“Oh my gosh, Liv! I got Jc’s number!” Madison yelled when we got into our car.

“Yay! I got Connor’s!” I yelled back as we both did a little happy dance.
