Chapter 6: ConnorFranta and O2L

What I saw on the screen surprised me. It was a youtube channel. But it wasn’t just any youtube channel, it had Connor’s face all over it!

“So you have a youtube?”I asked. Why was this so important?

“Yeah and so do Ricky, Jc, Kian, and Sam. I have over ½ a million subscribers!” he said, looking so excited.

Honestly, I didn’t think there was anything weird about this. I always thought it would be cool to make youtube videos. I spent some late nights watching youtubers like DailyGrace, Tyler Oakley, PointlessBlog, JacksGap, MacBarbie07, and StilaBabe09.

“We also have a collab channel, called O2l. I make videos on Mondays, Ricky is on Tuesday, Sam on Wednesday, then Jc, then Trevor, and then Kian. “ He said as he entered the channel in the search bar.

A channel popped up with a banner that had little cartoon versions of Connor and the rest of his friends.

“This is honestly really cool!” I said turning to Connor. “But why is this such a big thing?”

“Well, you see. We have a “fandom” I guess you could say, on twitter. Girls write fan fictions about us, and we have meet ups, where tons of girls come to see us. We also film daily vlogs and film a lot around here. So if you’re with us a lot, you’re gonna have to deal with that. I wanted to make sure you were okay with this now.” Connor asked.  I could see that he really wanted me to be ok with this. In fact, I actually was.

“Connor, I’m completely okay with it! If it’s what you love, I’ll accept it!” I said smiling at him.

“Olivia, you just made my day!” He said smiling, and then giving me a quick hug. “Let’s go get some food and then we can all watch some movies!”

We headed to the kitchen, where Ricky was still making his food.

“So you know about O2L now?” Ricky asked as he turned around.

“Yeah! I think it’s really cool.” I said smiling as I jumped to sit on the counter.

“Now we’re gonna watch some movies, and you’re welcome to join us.” Connor said as he put a bag of popcorn in the microwave.

“Yeah sure. I’ve got nothing better to do. Kian’s going to Andrea’s, and Sam is staying here, so we’ll just watch it with you. What movies are we watching?” Ricky asked, turning to me.

“Um, I guess it’s whatever you guys have.” I said.

“Well, we have Mean Girls, Silver Linings Playbook, The Hangover, and other movies like that. So we can watch those!” Connor said.

We all went and sat down in the living room. Connor got up and put in the first movie, Mean Girls, and that began our day of movies.
