||Harry|| night ||

My finger hovered over the green button on my phone.

To call or not to call?

"Just bloody call her." Was Niall's input when I asked what to do.

I steeled myself. Why was I even so nervous? She wasn't famous, she didn't know everybody.

Maybe that was why I was nervous.

I'd stared at her Instagram photos all night.

Photos of parties, friends, herself in bikinis and pretty dresses. Cheer photos, food photos, selfies. She was a normal girl. She had a life that wasn't surrounded by cameras.

I pressed the green button firmly and held it to my ear.

"Hello?" Flora answered.

"Hey, Flo, it's Harry!"

"Harry?" She said faintly, sounding surprised.

"Why're you so surprised, love?"

"I thought....I'm not." I could hear her voice change, and I pictured her smiling.

"I'm calling about that date of ours. When are you free?"

"Actually, whenever. Katelyn has uni, like, all week."

I explained to her when and where. She readily agreed, and that was done.

"It's funny watching you have trouble calling a girl."

"I'm going for a walk." I told Katelyn nonchalantly.

"But-"

I raced out and shut the door, running around the corner.

"Interesting time for a run."

I whipped around.

A girl stood, smacking her gum.

"Whatcha starin' at?" I sassed.

She was Asian and had pale purple hair that fell in waves to her shoulders. Her eyes were brown, contrasting with the blue stone from the piercing in her nose. She wore ripped jeans, platform converse, and a massively oversized woolen jumper.

"I wasn't running. I was escaping."

From little ol' Katelyn. Bloody hell, she could get annoying.

"I saw. The names Sienna. I'm 18." She stuck out her hand, a tattoo peeking out from her sleeve.

"Flora. I'm 17."

"You're the Cali girl, aren't you?"

I raised an eyebrow.

"So what if I am?"

She shook her purple locks, laughing.

At me.

"You're so clueless."

"Excuse you," I stated rudely, "But do you even fucking know me?"

She stopped laughing and narrowed her eyes.

"Maybe not. Is that your sister?"

She pointed at a figure, who was indeed my sister.

"Gotta run!" I started to run, Sienna following me.

Hey, I wasn't complaining. I didn't know these streets.

Sienna overtook me and pulled me into a newsagency, giggling and out of breath.
