"That was so unfair!" Sarah said in the locker room. She was slipping ut of her sweaty shirt. She turned around and faced Autumn, who was sitting on the bench that seperated the rows of lockers. "I mean, okay, maybe they aren't that good for PE.. But detention!? And having you just sit around? Ugh, I would' ve slapped him." She sprayed perfume on her chest and neck, it smelled like vanilla, Sarah reached the perfume bottle towards Autumn. She shook her head no and Sarah put the bottle back in her locker. "But, what do you think Josh will make you do on wednesday? Wash the left over PE clothes?" Autumn made a face.
"No, I hope not!" she slid the pants off, she didn't want to cause they were really comfortable. She kind of wanted to force Mr. Franceschi to try them, just so he could see how comfortable they were. Autumn then remembered what the teacher had told her. I wanna teach you I'm not a woman. Uh oh, what was he going to do?
Autumn was heading towards spanish when she saw a note on the door.
Spanish classes has been cancelled this afternoon due to sickness.
She turned around and headed towards her locker, to grab her bag and drive home to try to find out what to wear tonight. Since it wasn't really a date, cause Sam was gay. She couldn't dress to fancy, but the thought of going in jeans and a band shirt made her cringe. And what was she supposed to do to the bird nest people call "hair" that was placed on her head.
Autumn took her phone out to text Sarah, figuring she wouldn't want to be stuck at school when she could just skip and get ready for Douglas.
Skip next period and come home to me and get ready for tonight, please? x
She pressed send and walked out the doors and took a seat at the nearest empty bench. A hard wind flew through her hair and messed it up.
Not like I even tried this morning.. Autumn thought. She tapped the beat to A Love Like War with her feet and started humming.
"Make a wish on our sorry little hearts.. Have a smoke, pour a drink, steal a kiss in dark.." A shadow stood over her and she looked up. Expecting to see Sarah so she smiled, but that smile quikly disapeared when she saw her PE teacher.
"All Time Low eh?" he asked, his hands was in the pockets to his sweat shirt. He smiled at her.
Autumn looked away, raising her eyebrows and curling her lips.
"Obviously." she answered annoyed. Mr. Franceschi sighed and walked away.
Can't he take a hint? I don't want to talk to him, especially not look at him and see his beautiful green eyes and kissable lips an... Woah! Stop that, he's your teacher Autumn. Christ sake..
"Ready to go?" Sarah woke her from her day dreaming, Autumn jumped a bit and took her bag.
"Yeah, sure."
"This dress would look amazing tonight!" Sarah said holding a marine blue sparkling dress, it was a bit short. And not really meant for a dinner, or first date.
Autumn made a face and looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was curled and her make up was done. Even though she didn't want to go, she liked how she looked so far.
"No.." She started. Sarah sighed and put it back in. "I mean it's pretty. but not tonight. Can you grab my floral tank and a pair of black skinnies please?"
